Man, 2019 is really looking up to be a great year for Al Pacino.

At one point he was my 2nd favorite actor... I wish he (De Niro and many other rich older stars) would have picked a low-budget (but great) movie to help bring in a bigger audience. The last role I liked him in was almost 30 years ago, but I'll watch a show and go from there..

I think he's still a fantastic actor, just different from when he first started out. The Godfather Part III, Frankie & Johnny, Scent Of A Woman, Glengarry Glen Ross, Carlito's Way, Heat, Two Bits, Donnie Brasco, The Devil's Advocate, Insider, Insomnia, S1m0ne, The Recruit, The Merchant Of Venice, Manglehorn and Danny Collins are roles from the 90's and 2000's where he marks his presence very well, with Carlito's Way and Insider being among my favorite movies.
De Niro would probably benefit from being a little pickier. I would recommend checking out The Wizard Of Lies. That could be one of the best performances he's given in his career, felt like a minor comeback.
