Assuming he's right-handed then "don't trust words on left arm."

That will keep him in a logic loop for a minute before considering that perhaps the warning is for someone else's arm. Then he goes in search for another arm.

At some point he has to write "You are not Dr. Kimble" on the same arm. Then, if he forgets and reads both lines the next day he will believe he IS Dr. Kimble.
