ok ladies and gentleman?? i am not a computer genuis and this is the only forum i have ever posted on... but it seems to me that i am the only idiot that cannot make or find an avatar. If somone could help me with this it would be much appreciated.

And hey, if you want something to do real bad you could make a competition to see who could create the coolest avatar for me... like a paddleing for new pledges at a frat :D

Okay, go to your User CP at the top and then click on avatar and follow the instructions on there… you can either use one of the ones already available or upload one off your pc. The size right now is 90x90. When I was searching for one, I just fed in Avatars into google and searched the pages until I found one I liked.

Oh, and I am moving this tread to the Movie Forums Site Stuff... there are also a few threads in there on avatars that might be helpful...

If you find one you like, but find that it is too tall, or too wide, PM me (http://www.movieforums.com/community/private.php?do=newpm&u=1) and I should be able to resize it for you.

If it's animated, the size issue might be related to file size, though it's unlikely.

I am searching, too.

I googled and found this one:

http://www.avatarity.com/category/82/

Can't help you on how to link it --but some of the avatars would fit or could be sized.

Also: http://www.freewebstuff.be/avatars/

I want an animated flower I think. I found something in 'Clip Art' ---wondering if this can be used?

When I first came here I was looking for one as well and this is what I was told to do -

Go to www.picsearch.com . Choose "advanced search". There you can choose how big in pixels the pics you are looking for are allowed to be. After you have chosen size, like "small to medium", then type in what you are looking for and GO!

Then of course you can work on and resize your pics in different software programs, but I suck on that. But I know that there are a lot of members who are good at that kind of stuff.

It's a good site with lots of different pictures. Hope that helps.

I usually just take a nice picture and crop it and resize it.
