Not for forever anyways.

I am obsessive compulsive among my many faults in this world. For this reason, starting tomorrow, I am taking a 30 day vacation from the internet (except to pay bills cause someone'd get mad).

I liken this to dieting for me. When I need to lose a few pounds, I have to remove all temptation. I'm not a 'moderation' type guy.

Anyways, I didn't want to disappear without explanation and cause undue worry with those who would call me friend.

I am studying for some further tech certifications, and frankly, I have more fun here. I wish I had those built-in controls that some of you have where you can post a little, work a little etc. I don't, so I have to deal with it this way.

I hear you in my head, Slaytan... this is not that.

Anyways, I'll be poking around here today and then it's sayonara for 30.

Historically, you're vocalized your opinion that this type of thread is used as a tool with which to garner attention. I was merely saying that this thread wasn't meant to be an "attention getter", but just some info to those who would care. Last time I pulled a disappearing act I was chided by a few people for it. I just thought an explanation was warranted as I intended to be away for a bit.

My daughter danced in the Nutcracker this year so I've devoted ALOT of time to that. It's over now and I've been fixing up the house for the holidays.
