Why am I so compulsively attracted to redheaded women? I mean, sure, I love blondes and brunettes too, but what is it about redheads anyway?

Speilberg is one of the all time greatest directors in film history. His movies are one one of a kind. Close Encounters of the Third Kind, E.T. The Extra Terrestrial, "The Indiana Jones movies" and on and on....He is the greatest!! :yup:

The meaning of life is to collect as many stamps as possible before you die so you can go to a better place.

Now give me your stamps!

Only the strong will survive. ;) *golgot rings the gong of wrongness*

So sorry young man, but you seem to have swallowed the prevelant misconception that "survival of the fittest" means survival of the strongest.

It, of course, really means survival of the most-suitable-to-the environment. i.e. the most fitting [-or- those who are able/prepared to balance their competition and cooperation]. Hilarious isn't it - that this misconception has run so long, done so much damage, and left so many people thinking they're being practical and realistic by being soley competitive. [tho now that we have changed our societies/environments to ones of near-no-(institutionalised)-cooperation, it's becoming ironically more fitting. I don't think we'll be feeling so strong tho when we've over-competed ourselves to death  ]

I'm afraid you forfit anymore questions from me ;)

Your choice....besides, the question was "What does it mean to me ".

Well, back in the 1980s' she was a huge pop star, with that one time hit "I Think We Are Alone Now". In the 1990's into this millenium, she changed her looks and put out three new new albums - New Inside, Open My Eyes and The Color Of Silence all in the year of 2000. After that she has been seen on programs here and there....for example, VH1's I Love the 80's and I Love the 80's Strikes Back

I wanted to have one specific thread made for people just to ask me questions .....because :

I was going to ask you about that because there are different kinds of strengths... and I would think the ability to adapt to a different environment would require the strength not only to change but endure as well…

Sure - it's just that some people over the years have advanced highly simplified interpretations as the be-all-and-end-all of social activity, including things like machavellian power-politics [and modern-day capitalism in some incarnations]. It's just ironic considering that's not what Darwin meant. And all-out-predatory aquisitiveness isn't a survival trait ;) (incidently i think changing and enduring are interdependant in some ways)

But i do agree that a well-exercised "heart" is important all round :)

Since I totally ripped your idea off, I wanna add to your thread.

1. What is the worst thing you've ever done?

2. If you had a gun and could never be arrested, like you had diplomatic immunity, who would you shoot?

3. What is, in your opinion, the greatest song ever recorded?
