As it happens, I have been too busy living it up in LA the last few weeks to post very much on the good ol' MoFo!
Just the other day, I was driving through Hollywood and Beverly Hills, checkin' out the scenery, walking along Santa Monica beach, generally having a good time. A week ago, I went ocean-swimming at Redondo Beach--awesome experience! Try it if you ever get the opportunity. A couple of nights ago I found myself in a party on Hollywood Blvd. surrounded by scantily clad women of all shapes and sizes!
Ah . . . life is a beach and I plan to swim in the waves! :D
Oh, yeah, it just occurred to me . . .
This is the "Movie Forums", isn't it? (It was, last time I checked!)
And here I am, just 30 minutes drive from Hollywood! :D

It's a cesspool of dirty streets and gridlocked traffic and choking smog, with advertisements everywhere...perfect place to get back in touch with 'true' humanity, eh Django?

My own feelings about Los Angeles aside, this is what I'm talking about. You complain about how it's society's fault that true human values aren't important to people anymore, yet you take trips to Disneyland. Pull your head out of your ass, or stop being such a counterfeit.

Actually, I haven't taken any recent trips to Disneyland, mostly to the beach to do some ocean swimming and babe-scanning. All totally wholesome, natural and non-commercial! :D I also ate some great seafood at Redondo Beach a couple of weeks ago--fresh ocean catch! Awesome! And a week ago, my boss had a cook-out at his place--steak and shish-kebobs right of the grill! Again, very wholesome, natural and non-commercial! I think I'm staying true to my values, dude!

Allright. Allright guys. I can't believe I'm jumping to Django's defense here but there are alot of beautiful people in LA. You'd really have to see it to believe it. There's a rule-of-thumb when one is thinking of travelling to the southern west coast: don't come if you have severe self-esteem problems. And if your not accustomed to seeing this all at once, like perhaps Django, then I can see where he might be overwhelmed at the sight. It's like Sweden, everyone over there is beautiful. And we're not talking about the inside beauty--which I prefer--we're talking Calvin Klien, Victoria Secret, Playboy beautiful.
Of course it can be said that the commercialism you abhor is what makes these people so appetizing to look at in the first place.

You are almost agreeing with what Nikki said by saying the comment was "not bad", but it was clearly against you, saying you pay for sex. Thus, you are agreeing with that comment. But no one just agrees to something like that. It literally makes no sense.

Secondly, debating the issues hardly qualifies as "disagreement and conflict". That's the whole point of a forum--to debate the issues and exchange ideas.

The reason being that I did not come on this forum to argue, but, rather, to chat with friends. When someone starts an argument with me (as Yoda or Silver Bullet invariably do, first chance they get), my strategy is to get out of that argument asap--not to waste my time pettily bickering with juvenile delinquents. Hence my facetious retorts in reply to their pointless comments.

Well, I get along fine with Sexy Celebrity for the most part. I may not be his closest friend, but you don't see him at my throat all the time. Sure, he makes his share of wisecracks, which he does about everything, and I laugh it off as usual. But I bear him no ill will and I don't think he bears me any either.

The reason being that I did not come on this forum to argue, but, rather, to chat with friends. When someone starts an argument with me (as Yoda or Silver Bullet invariably do, first chance they get), my strategy is to get out of that argument asap--not to waste my time pettily bickering with juvenile delinquents. Hence my facetious retorts in reply to their pointless comments.
So you don't think posting like 10 times in this argument in the last hour is wasting your time with petty arguments? Oh and calling the kindergarten argument facetious doesn't make it any more intelligent, just because you're classifying it with a big word. Its still a childish way to argue. My question is if your point is not to waste your time then why post at all in these situations because that is all you are doing b/c they all end up the same every single time.

Secondly, debating the issues hardly qualifies as "disagreement and conflict". That's the whole point of a forum--to debate the issues and exchange ideas.
Of course it qualifies. You don't debate something, for the most part, if you don't first disagree about it. I didn't say all disagreement was bad. It can be respectful and educational (Pidzilla, Gol, etc), or it can be infantile (you).
