Why would we care about the DVD when we aren't even able to see the movie yet? Friday just needs to get here already!
Just giving you all some info........no need to be harsh

Exactly, no hard feelings. We were just excitable. And besides that was more directed to whoever released the info that you had.

Thanks for the info jrs… I can’t wait to see the movie either but at least Tarantino is giving us all fair warning there will be several DVD’s … which is much better then a lot of them do…

I know I misunderstood, but I have gotten unnecessary negative points just for that

I like Tarantino, but I'm not too sure about his idea. We already have to pay twice to see two parts of the same movie, do we really want to buy what amounts to four DVDs to get all of his extras too?
I think the two-volume set would be enough, personally.
Hey I'd rather be getting more extras from QT with all those DVD releases than just get a DVD with nothing but the movie on it. I'd be complaining more then..

Well then, you'll be pleased to note that I didn't at any stage suggest he release a DVD without extras, won't you?

Kill Bill is getting some good reviews from critics tho (check out www.fangoria.com) if you want. It looks kickass. That and Chain Saw Massacre - I'm dying to see them both!

Kill Bill Volume 1 is set to be released on DVD February 3.
17 days before Volume 2 is released.
YESSSSSSSSS!!!!!!!!! That marks a HUGE red letter date on my calender. :yup:
Thanks to thedigitalbits.com (http://www.thedigitalbits.com/)for this pic of Kill Bill: Volume1's cover art. ;)
I guess I should say that the Kill Bill DVD is now "delayed" til April 13 or something. Another excuse for me to hate Miramax

I have also heard that Vol. 2 has been pushed back to April as well

It was always too good to be true, even with all the promises made, you knew they would delay everything, will probably put it down to post-production, but its probably their business strategy, keep us waiting as long as they can.
Certain things are worth the wait. ;)

Quentin Tarantino's Kill Bill, Volume 1 will street on 4/13 (SRP $29.99). The disc will include anamorphic widescreen video (2.35:1), both Dolby Digital and DTS 5.1 audio, a Behind the Scenes with Quentin Tarantino documentary and additional extras TBA. Interestingly, this DVD release is just 3 days prior to the scheduled release of Kill Bill, Volume 2 into theaters .It's possible that a more elaborate edition of both films is planned for a later date.

searched google for hours and finally found towerrecords.co.jp
how do u order if its in japanese?
Well most of the checkout is in english because they compensate for people who order from the US and i had to go by that, my paltry bit of Japanese knowledge and clicking the big colored buttons
Nevermind w/that. I am gonna wait another month for the real DVD. I own the DVD PAL anyways. As well as the screener and workprint till then. :)
Yeah, this isn't much except some cool collectibles. I couldn't resist the tiny sword. I'm probably not going to get the region 1 DVD. I ended up somehow getting the Turkish version of the movie like a month ago. Complete with Turkish Subtitles and everything. :) You should actually get the Region 2 release instead, because it has the House of Blue Leaves fight completely in color and that should be fun..

is the Region 2 the only dvd that will have the house of blue leaves fight in color?
and if so, how would i go about getting one of those?
bear with me if these are stupid questions. i don't know much about dvd's and regions and how that stuff works.

You can order R2 DVDs on the Amazon.uk site and many others.
BUT, if you don't have a region-free DVD player and a converter for the PAL signal, it won't do you any bit of good to buy the disc.
