In order to receive $1,000,000, you would have to watch one movie for 24 hours straight. Would you do this &, if so, which movie would you watch?

I would do it though it wouldn’t be easy. I figured a long movie, but I couldn’t watch, say, Satantango for 24 hours. So I would choose The Deer Hunter, which is one of my all-time fave movies & lasts about 3 hours. I would have to watch it 8 times, which would be a torture, but I think I could do it.

There are plenty of movies that I can I watch over and over again, even right in a row. I would pick an upbeat movie, either a comedy or a rom-com.

My first thought is probably Sunday in New York, but I might pick something like Kiss Me Goodbye, While You Were Sleeping, The Princess Bride or maybe a good action movie like Raiders of the Lost Ark or Star Wars.

Well I know I've accidentally watched Jaws four or five times in a row. But if I needed to go 24 hours it would have to be something with music to keep me awake so Purple Rain or Stop Making Sense

Hell I'd even watch a lameo movie like one of the Star Wars prequels over and over for 24 hours, if it meant a million bucks.

Now if you change that sum to say $100 I'd have to think about it? Probably my answer would be, no. But for a mere $1000 I'd watch Blade Runner non stop for 24 hours, but only if it was the original theatrical cut.

The challenge would be 24 hours of the Emoji Movie. I've seen it. It would be a challenge. But for a million...even that would be easy.

Yeah, picking a favourite movie would be too easy - the real challenge comes from not only picking something you could re-watch 6-18 times in a row, but also staying awake for a full 24 hours (what if falling asleep at any point meant you lost the money?). As much as I could re-watch Blade Runner, it also strikes me as a movie that would easy to fall asleep to after a long enough time. Siddon's got the right idea about musicals having moments so I may well go with The Blues Brothers after all that.

Yeah, picking a favourite movie would be too easy - the real challenge comes from not only picking something you could re-watch 6-18 times in a row, but also staying awake for a full 24 hours (what if falling asleep at any point meant you lost the money?). As much as I could re-watch Blade Runner, it also strikes me as a movie that would easy to fall asleep to after a long enough time. Siddon's got the right idea about musicals having moments so I may well go with The Blues Brothers after all that.
If the movie had to be TLJ I wouldn't do it.

I would do it and as it's my go-to film when there's nothing else, I think The Pornographer (1999) would be my best option. It just tickles me.
