^ This ****e. Wanted to try a 'herbal' energy drink but it was disgusting. This reminded me of white wine and I can't stand the taste of white wine, absolutely foul. So if you like white wine and don't want to get drunk, try this. :D

1

I gave it one star because the design on the can is beautiful and apparently healthier than the likes of say Red Bull.

If it's alcohol it's was Aberlour D'Abunah on the weekend. 9.5/10. Otherwise, water, 11/10. If its fizzy drinks count as "drinks", it was over 2 years ago. Coke or Pepsi. Probably coke. 6/10.

Lovely notes of salt, smoke and seawead. Large measure with just a few drops of water. Very smooth. Not the greatest Islay type single malt but very decent for the price range.

It's got a sour raspberry flavor and it's reddish colored too! And there's nothing like it in the stores. I'd rate it a 4.5

Monster Energy Pipeline Punch. Tastes like a fizzy version of one of my childhood drinks(when it was the original taste around the 80s and 90s! not the new taste after parents moaned about the sugar/artificial flavours in it and it was changed in the early 00s, bla).

Tastes like:

It was pleasant enough but I wouldn't buy it again. It's a Apple, Orange, Guava, Pineapple, Cherry, Passion Fruit mix including their 'secret' original Monster taste according to the can.

Once in a rare while, I find a diner/restaurant that makes a REAL cherry coke, the kind where they squirt a generous portion of cherry syrup into the glass, and top with a cherry. This one was only 2 counties away, but it made my day. You can offer to serve me all the fancy mixed drinks, wines and cocktails on the planet, but I ' m never so happy as when I'm sipping a real Cherry Coke.45068

Cherry juice46666

It had been suggested to me that a good way to flavor the 8 glasses of water / day that we health minded mofos are forced to drink instead of the soda we really WANT to drink -is to make a fruit infusion- Which has to do with peeling and chopping all sorts of leaky , squirmy, -slither off the countertop and then spend half the day cleaning them all up- fruits and vegetables to be placed in a carafe of water. And never go outside again in these beautiful summer months b/c you're too busy chopping and peeling and sponging and mopping - not to mention having to buy a carafe.

So in lieu of that noxious task, it was also suggested I buy some pure fruit juice- no additives, dyes, flavoring, sweeteners, etc. - ya know the drill- and add that to my water.

So I found this cherry juice. And added it to my water. Now I like juice. And I very much like cherries. And I just LUV cherry sherbet and cherry cokes.

So why does this stuff taste only slightly better than the mouthwash your dentist gives you when it's time to rinse and spit?

On a scale of 1-10 , I!d give it a :
Bllleeehhhhhh.

Back to the water with squeezed lemon til such day- if ever- I find a better way to flavor my water.

I guess I could use the left over juice for something. It seems to be quite indelibly colorful. Seems like I could stain a deck chair with this stuff. Tell me: Are tie-dyed t shirts coming back in style?

spookiemoviemania

I am confused LL. Do you like the cherry juice or not? Is the crook taste because you add it to water? I drink cherry juice and black grape juice and find them yummy on its own. Also very healthy for you with no added nasties.. Tho in moderation as it still contains sucrose.

My favorite tipple is a drop of this nectar.

why would you double bag it unless it's in a pot? why not let the bag sit for longer

I guess it depends what tea you are using, I can let a Tetley brew for 2 to 3 minutes but if it's Yorkshire tea I'll take it out after 15 seconds and it's still sometimes too strong and I have to start again

Honestly it's going to be a drinking night tonight. Let's all get drunk

Well, I've got several flavors of Gatorade now in which to mix my gin. (I buy the "low sugar" Gatorade, but it's still too sweet - so it has to be cut with ice and alcohol!)

I used to mix my gin with Arizona "Health" Iced Tea, but they stopped making that kind and I switched to their "Stress" tea (not as good with gin).

Of course there's the standard "tonic" (but after so many years it got a bit boring).

I used to drink Tanqueray back in the day I could afford such luxuries (and a great gin it is) - but now I just get the cheap stuff.

Supposedly pronounced "stoke", this style is lightly sweetened, and not heavily caffeinated (95 mg). It's cheaper than the Starbucks' product, and I like it better. It's available at WalMart.

Heh. I still like Stok, but I've recently switched to Starbucks iced coffee packets. I don't like patronizing Starbucks, tbh, but their box of 6 packets makes 96 ounces of iced coffee, whereas the Stok is only 48 ounces-- twice the product for just a little more dough. If Stok would come out with packets, it would probably be cheaper. I guess I'm just a cheap sun of a gun. Of course it would be even cheaper to make it out of my own brewed coffee, but I'm also lazy...:D

Any fans of G+T? Since the "Ginaissance" over the last 5-6 years, there's been an explosion of craft gin around the world. I have drank more Barton Gin than I care to admit: $2.22 for 200ml. I stay ****ed up all the time even when I was dirt broke, but when the money was good I would drink Myers's Rum.

But the best thing I ever drank was vanilla Coke with cherry rum by Calico Jack. That drink was bomb: I'd knock out a 750ml bottle of it on a Saturday.

Geez, thinking back on all this has got me realizing I was way more of an alcoholic than I ever cared to admit. I haven't even shared all the brands of beer I'd knock back. Got to a point where all I bought was tall cans of ice beer. I'd chug that swill till I was ill.

My last drink was OJ. Just OJ. It was better without the gin.

To each his own drink. As for rum I prefer sipping it neat or on the rocks. I used to drink more rum than gin, and I seldom reach for mixers. I do like the occasional mojito or caiprinha (not exactly "rum-based" but still amazing). Two brands that I enjoy are the Brugal 1888 and Flor de Cana 12, both of which are still lying around in my home.

I give it a 7/10, mostly because I tasted the Bailey's more than anything else. I mean, Bailey's is delicious, but I wanted to taste the chocolate as well. I recommend adding a little less Bailey's and a little more vodka and crème de cacao than the recipe requires.

I'm not sure I've ever had Bailey's without mixing it with something. You just drink that stuff straight out of the bottle?

That cupcake sub-title kinda scares me.

I made nachos this weekend (ground beef, diced red onion, jalapenos, a bit of garlic, salt, better, a BIT of shredded sharp cheddar to act as a slight binder cuz i hate refried beans as a filler. Black beans, on the other hand, are perfect. A layer of chips (that's tostado style, not "fries" for your foreign weirdos with your wonky words (not YOU, necessarily, just quoted you to ask about cupcakes; this current paragraph is to the universe in general)), a thin layer of shredded cheese, piping hot meaty goodness over that to melt, topped then with some shredded lettuce, diced tomato, (more) diced red onion, and whatever else I could find. Couldn't make it too spicy though as I was over at mom's vising for the weekend.

Oh. the point... Dos Equis XX Amber with a slice of lime. It was ok, from a bottle. I'd prefer to be sitting in my favorite local Mexican joint with a mug from the tap. But beggars can't be choosers, they say.

I'm not sure I've ever had Bailey's without mixing it with something. You just drink that stuff straight out of the bottle?

That cupcake sub-title kinda scares me.

A friend brought this over last night. The M.C. Hammerschlagen Octoberfest. Very smooth but not cracking the top ten Octoberfests for me.

Brandy Alexander, which has brandy, creme de cacao, cream and a dash of nutmeg. Here's a recipe. (https://www.liquor.com/recipes/brandy-alexander/)
10/10. It's one of my go-to cocktails.

In a way, Talisker feels too "safe", as a reliably awesome, affordable and easy to find whisky. It's like a baseline. But returning to it after some explorations always surprises me with how genuinely reliably awesome it stays.

Cointreau 5/10

Anyone else think this is glorified paint thinners? I prefer Grand Marnier for a liqueur, but I live in Australia and because of the global situation I can't have any. :(

In previous experience at least it goes good with ice cream. They all do fortunately.

Tasted nice once started drinking but had a horrible aftertaste of incense... it tasted how incense smells anyway, I haven't eaten incense. :dizzy:

Long Island Ice Tea. 5/5. The bartender was not playing around with her pours. Very strong but oh so yummy.

My wife is in California visiting her family. I couldn't go because of work (even though I'm off tonight). So I'm here alone drinking. Hitting the Red Stripe tonight. 5/5. My favorite beer.

Kicking it with some Rush on the stereo and Johnnie Walker Blue Label. So good but so expensive. Don't get too used to it. It's a pricey habit.

Finally got my rosé last night. Two glasses. 8/10 because I really wanted a frosé, slushy-style. Will try to find some next week when I see my bestie.

Right now I'm having a bottle of Warsteiner pilsener (yep, that's how they spell 'pilsner'). Good stuff.
