Anyone watching it yet?

I highly doubt the show will do any justice or make a good representation of Jack Parson's life and the religion/magic system of Thelema but it is one of those spectacles you don't see around often. I know they'll sensationalise it with the whole "He's a scientist.....and an occultist......performing magical rituals......and sex is involved.......THE HORROR!!!!!" and also take the route completely ignorant of Tantric Sex in Hinduism, eh.

I haven't seen the show yet but I noticed that each episode is named after a movement of Stravinsky's Rite Of Spring, which I find very amazing, since there is a famous bar in that piece where there are 11 massive percussive strikes (and 11 is an important kabbalistic number in Thelema), so I find the inclusion of The Rite Of Spiring to be extraordinarily syncronistic (seeing as I am the only one on the internet I've ever known to have drawn that connection  )

But the show at the least appears to be very well produced, as for their treatment of the biographical material - I have strong doubts. Interestingly, the avatar I've had since the beginning of this forum is Marjorie Cameron (who is a massive artistic idol of mine) from in Inauguration Of The Pleasure Dome by Kenneth Anger, which happens to be my favorite movie. She (Marjorie) happens to have been one of Parson's wives at one point but I've never been anywhere as interested in Parson's as Cameron
