The Final Season of NEW GIRL

Just finished the season premiere of the final season. It took a few minutes to get over my outrage over the three year time jump. We learned in the last episode that Schmidt and CeCe were going to have a baby and I was SO looking forward to watching those two go through pregnancy together but they just decided to skip over all of that and their daughter is three now. Once I accepted the time jump, I found that this show is still funny as ever, Jess and Nick are definitely end game because the writers keep finding ways to keep them apart while continuing to take the curious bromance between Nick and Schmidt to another level. I forgot how much I missed this show.

I know someone that works on this show and he said to me that it's really weird that it exists.

Dunno, i find that hilarious even though he's clearly being self-deprecating.

I think it means that it's an unusual show and he's surprised it got made, and kept getting made.
