maybe thats why i have problems reading other languages...coz the letters are in the right order or because you have to read each letter. is that really true?

wow, you can still figure it out! - or just about speed read it with the shorter stuff. Kind of like seeing the words as wholes then. We make sense of sentences in the same way - guessing the bits we don't pick up on/pay attention to from the overall impression.

One friend of mine has a form of dyslexia/dyspraxia where he has trouble multi-tasking i.e. he'll get drawn into one task and then you could set fire to his shirt tails and he wouldn't notice ;) I wonder if that's a common kind of trend i.e. tendancy to focus on details rather than making sense of them in a wider context (these are supposedly "opposite"/complementary hemisphere-related brain-roles as well. Tho i've always thought, if my mate is "unbalanced" in this way, it's given him certain advantages. He's damn good at the job he does anyway :yup: )

That’s pretty cool… I have a mild case of dyslexia but zipped though all of that without any problems at all…
