Anniversaries. What are they supposed to celebrate? Do they celebrate a year of loyalty, a year of living? Do they celebrate a person that has been involved with a group that has made a journey together. Or perhaps anniversaries make it possible for other people to recognize another person for his or her contribution to something special?

Well Linda, I think we can all agree that you have indeed made it possible for all of us to come together here to create something special. Yes, Yoda is the brains behind the project, but without you there might not be a "Movie Forums". Without you, this community of special folks who one day decided to search the web for a place to discuss movies, current events and personal triumphs, may never have met. Simply, without you, there would be no Yoda, "Movie Forums". Your inclusion inside the project has made all of us admire you as a mother, a sister and a friend.

So Happy Anniversary Linda! Thanks for sharing yourself and your family with us. You are truly admirable people.

Thanks, all, for the kind words (misspelled or not). And for my treasured friend, Aniko, whose avatar just makes me love her so much more. I picture you just like our dear Katharine in that picture.

As for reporter: Well, the "mother, sister, friend" thing is nice, but it sounds more like a typical marriage in West Virginia or something. :)

(Are there any West Virginians in here?)

Anyway, go figger--I missed the anniversary too. I too wish they were back on the front forum page. I think most of our anniversary threads now have the word "Belated" in them. That can't be good.

Yer all such fun here. And contributing Yoda wasn't really all that difficult. Well, the BEGINNING was, but he was still worth it, wasn't he? I will *never* forget when he first blinked and looked at me seconds after he was born. It is probably the pivotal moment in my entire life. And everything that I wished and hoped for in that moment, and every dream and goal a mother conceives in her heart for her child he has easily surpassed a thousand times over. I couldn't be prouder of how he turned out or more in awe of how children gloriously supercede their parents in the most marvelous ways.

He's a great catalyst for a lot of friendships around here. You're all great.
