I've watched the first three episodes now and there's some potential but I'm really worried it won't materialize. On this pace we don't even know what the series is about after season one and I have my doubts that these characters are interesting enough to carry the show.

I watched the first three episodes too. And I'm wondering where it's headed... because it could so easily just fall down a dumb rabbit hole full of trite clichés. But I'm willing to give it a chance. The opening montage is fun -- so many nods to Stephen King stories set in Castle Rock.
