CBS has an interesting idea with Me, Myself, and I, a sitcom that seems to have found its inspiration in other movies and television. Like the Oscar winning film Moonlight, the film focuses on one character at three different times in his life: Jack Dylan Grazer plays the character as a nervous preteen, ex SNL regular Bobby Moynihan plays the same character as a divorced single dad living in a garage and TV vet John Larroquette plays the character as a retired wealthy CEO. And like the NBC series This is Us, the story flashes back and forth between the different time periods in this guy's life; unfortunately, the writers have not figured out a way to convince us that all three characters are the same person yet. Larroquette is wasted and Jaleel White returns to television in a thankless role as Moynihan's BFF, but he is the least of this show's problems. The writers have to figure out a way for these three characters to be one for this to really work.
