There was a lady at the local Jack-in-the-Box that looked almost exactly like her, so I had to quit going there for a while as that fattening food and her look-alike were too much input for one man! ;)

Stefanie Powers makes her 2nd appearance on this list. Very nice. I used to watch Hart to Hart on a casual basis, but anytime it's on TV I'll stop and watch, mainly for Ms. Powers.

Dawn Wells---despite my preference for redheads, I always loved Mary Ann the most. Wholesome and sexy at the same time, beautiful face, lovely figure, and those shorts...oh, man, it was almost too much for one boy to take!

Susan Lucci was and is a legend and very sexy indeed. I'm glad she finally won her Emmy. And she's been showing up on those Progressive Insurance commercials, making fun of her own image. :)

Shelley Long was good but Kirstie Alley was my favourite. I love the bit early on where Sam succeeds in persuading Rebecca to let him work at Cheers. On the way out of the office he asks whether it was pity that motivated her to give in. She pauses for a second, with a positive air, then her face drops slightly and she says "It's pity".

Scoff if you will, but Farrah Fawcett (at the time she was still Fawcett-Majors) was the #1 television star in 1977, the most recognizable face (and hair) on network television, and a poster of her in a red one-piece was on the bedroom wall of every seventeen year old boy in the country. She was no Meryl Streep, but she was the most famous woman on the planet at the time. I just have one more thing to say...RIP, Farrah.

Gideon, I know you said she was no Meryl Streep but once she did The Burning Bed for TV, something seemed to spark within her and she rolled out several great acting roles one after another. One is difficult to watch but I thought she was phenomenal in it and that was Extremities. As a would-be rape victim who gets the upper hand on her attacker, she gradually goes bonkers throughout and has to be talked out of killing this scumbag. It's my favorite performance of hers. She did several afterward that I need to see, like Margaret Bourke-White with Farrah as the famous photojournalist. I'm glad she did grew in her acting career.

I never watched the show but Alicia Florrick, in The Good Wife was on my radar. I think Julianna Margulies is a lovely lady and I'm glad she got the lead on that show.
Abby Ewing, Knots Landing---I watched Knots Landing off-and-on throughout the years but I've always been a Donna Mills fan. She was in Play Misty for Me with Clint Eastwood and I've had a crush on her ever since.
Amanda Woodward, Melrose Place---Yes, more Heather! As I said, I tended to follow her from show-to-show and this was no different.
Honorable Mentions:
Olivia Benson, Law & Order SVU---I only watch the show off-and-on (again!) but if it's on, I'll stop and watch the gorgeous Mariska Hargitay whenever she's onscreen.
Dee Dee McCall, Hunter---Stepfanie Kramer was, and still is beautiful. Again, another show I'd watch casually but was always aware of the leading lady (or co-star whenever that was the case). As her leading man, Fred Dryer might say, "Hey, it works for me" (or in this case, she works for me!).
Phoebe Buffay, Friends---Lisa Kudrow was and is a beautiful, sexy lady and probably the best actress of the three female friends on the show. I recently saw her in the movie Wonderland, where she played the ex-wife of porn star John Holmes who was played by Val Kilmer and she pretty much stole the scenes she shared with him and was very impressive.
Donna Abbondando, NYPD Blue---I never missed a single episode of this series and I loved Gail O'Grady as Donna and was crushed when she left the show. but she's never failed to find work afterward for which I'm very grateful.
Karen Walker, Will & Grace---I was not a fan of the show but I loved her in it, especially when she and Sean Hayes teamed up. They were comic gold, and she was so alluring. I really liked her in Parks and Recreation as the first wife of her real-life husband Nick Offerman. Once again, she was supremely sexy.
Kelly Bundy, Married...with Children---has been and will always be beautiful and has successfully transitioned to film, lifting such blah films as Vacation way higher than it should have been with her winning comedic talent.

Farrah Fawcett, well, I've said what I meant to say. Love to you, Farrah. Great list, once again, Gideon!

Please don't get me wrong regarding Farrah's acting abilities...when I said she was no Meryl Streep, I was talking about at the time she was playing Jill. She found acting chops during The Burning Bed, Extremeties, and my personal favorite Small Sacrifices, for which I think she should have won an Emmy.

As for Small Sacrifices, I really wanted to see her in it, but due to what she does with the kids, I just couldn't bring myself to watch it. It's hard for me to watch any child in a movie...well, you know. Maybe I could deal with it now. Is it graphic at all?
