I have felt like people come after me in Survivor at times just to pick on the oddball. I was bullied as a child. Survivor 9 Report Card

Contestants: A-

Of course Sexy is in a game all his own, making every Survivor really entertaining, even when he quits, he still is involved. Hashtag and Cat really took to the characters as well, making it a bit more lively. Had myself and 7thson stayed in a bit longer, there would have been more dynamics there. Ed played with Lestat every now and then, but I feel like when a presences like TONGO is gone, you really feel it.


Challenges: B-

I think challenges that involve guessing things about the hosts life is a little lame. It started off well with a photoshop challenge and story writing challenge, then it kind of dived into who knows Rauld the best. I'm also not a fan of challenges where the host picks a winner, I still say it should be a third party or that entries are anonymous. The pace of the challenges were decent, giving everyone a good chance at play....


Excitement: B

....those challenges being 24 hour challenges do tend to not be as exciting with the pressure mounting. As redundant as those challenges were from Tongo where we all had to guess the film based on a bad plot line, those could be nerve-wracking.


Host: A-

Raul's second time hosting and he's a good host. Gives enough time for challenges, seems to be fair and handled the quitting of two players early on very well. I do think his decision to have the one random vote be a re-vote is a complete mistake and took away from the excitement of having duels, but whatever.


Overall: B+


I would have had more fun in this game if I played more...of course. It would have been nice if two people didn't quit off the start too. But overall, this was a good 'season', one that will be memorable of course because Sexy finally won.





Survivor 1 - A+++ I won that one :)

Survivor 2 - A- I got Sexy out and that's when he decided to have a lifelong vendetta against me.

Survivor 3 - A - Man, I should have won this one and am still upset that two votes were to chance and the deciding vote was a coin toss.

Survivor 4 - A - This one is popular and intense. Had a lot of fun here.

Survivor 5 - Did not play

Survivor 6 - Did not play

Survivor 7 - C This was when I was ousted for having an ALT, that part of the game was thrilling for everyone it seems, I didn't follow the game after that, but people really went after me on this one. I believe this game was when it really 'killed' the survivor vibe. Drained the energy, everything.

Survivor 8 - F Honestly, I had a really fun and great game set up for this, which was going to intertwine with a murder mystery story....but people quit...people deciding to not participate for challenges...it really killed the mood (no pun intended). So there was no official winner cause I ended it. I declared Cosmic the winner simply because she played in every challenge. Heck, the final 3 challenge...she was the only one to play. The other two didn't. Put me in a really bad mood which made me end the game and also made Tongo go crazy for the billionth time.

Survivor 9 - B+ New blood made the game interesting to watch. I wonder if this will reignite people's interest or not.

In reality, the lifelong vendetta is against @teeter_g (http://www.movieforums.com/community/member.php?u=72824). You give yourself too much credit for my loss then. Yes, I'm sure you played a part, but we BOTH underestimated Teeter_G. She is an underrated winner and I would like to see her in another game. I approached her about working with her and she was like, "I feel it's time I made some big moves in this game." Even if she was assisted somewhat, she still made the right decisions, and she did win the last couple of immunities. She was just waiting for the right time to strike.

And I must say... I looked over the Survivor 2 thread before I started this game, and Teeter_G actually gave me an idea on how to play on people psychologically. In that game, at the start, everybody had to pick an item to bring with them to the Paradise Island. Just as Raul made everyone pick a location before this game started.

I picked John Rambo (of the Rambo movies) as my item.

Teeter_G picked.... a simple toothbrush.

And some of you guys might think this is silly.... but her decision to pick a simple, non-threatening toothbrush (while I picked Rambo) said A LOT about her game. There was something about that toothbrush vs. my Rambo that said..... I am just a simple toothbrush, I am not threatening.

So I used that toothbrush as the basis for my decision of playing Sophia Petrillo from The Golden Girls.

Puppet Master Sophia

This sweet, innocent looking old lady was my toothbrush.

Even if I played a brutal game.... I'm still a little old lady. I'm still as delicate as a toothbrush.... even though a toothbrush is capable of scrubbing grime away. Sophia may be a sweet looking old lady, but she is also Italian, she lived in Brooklyn, she thinks of herself as The Godfather, she has a wild, crooked history involving mafia hits and vendettas and all sorts of stuff. She has a sharp wit and she's super, super smart. She is also better at games than Dorothy, which is why I chose Suspect to be my Dorothy. Sophia is a better bowler, a better cards player, a better checkers player, everything. It would be so like Sophia to play MoFo Survivor and turn out to be the winner. I felt she was the right "main character" to be - she was always the "main character" while the other roleplaying personalities were just extras. I've seen Sophia so many times on this show... I knew I could make it work with her. I knew I could literally turn into Sophia Petrillo.

I put serious thought into my game, and if you voted against me out of bitterness..... stupid, and not respectful, but okay. There are certainly times when it's okay to vote against somebody because you're mad.... but some people really try hard to win, and that's what I did. If I had lost to @cat_sidhe (http://www.movieforums.com/community/member.php?u=95730), no offense to her, but I might have left and never came back. For real. Or were you guys hoping for that? I never, ever considered myself the winner until Raul actually announced that I was. In Survivor 2, I had a weak moment and at Final 6, thought I had the game in my hands. That was a huge mistake. If you really want to win, you can. But you gotta fight for that win every step of the way. The fact that three people voted against me tells me I wasn't perfect. Had everyone voted for me, THAT would have been gold.

While I don't think 9 was as good as the first 5 games, I think it bested 6,7 and 8. 1 will probably honestly take the cake as the best, but 2,4, and 5 were very good. I don't remember a ton of 3 so I should read it again.

I don't have the right words for all the thanks I have to give you. I've been blessed in my first game to have played on side with 3 guys I respect and have come to have genuine affection for. I learned random things, and one of my emotional moments was when I thought the challenge of where Godoggo was (before I knew it would be quickfire questions) was trying to find out if she had mentioned where she was in thread somewhere. And I found a thread of all of you missing her so badly, even I felt it and I was crying a bit. It was a beautiful thread, and I get moved by unexpected beauty. It's why I sometimes cry during live music shows. This game was quite beautiful for me and it's given me a lot more than just the fun aspect.

Fictionalized, I see it like.... I was a bad guy. I was like a killer/crook on the loose. On the run. We probably had just escaped prison together - MoFo Penitentiary. We were in jail for offing two women together - Dannii and Spookiemoviemania (I won't link them so they won't see this, forget them!)

Cat breaks down. Cricket tries to comfort her. But then I start bossing them around inside the house, telling them we've gotta do this and do that, etc. To keep me safe.

@cat_sidhe (http://www.movieforums.com/community/member.php?u=95730) sneaks into the bedroom and makes a quick phone call to @Yam12 (http://www.movieforums.com/community/member.php?u=95772), who happens to be the twin brother of @TheUsualSuspect (http://www.movieforums.com/community/member.php?u=9280), who lives close by. She tells him what's going on. He offers to come over and kill me. He's gonna bring his sneaky, suave, Italian pal @Nope1172 (http://www.movieforums.com/community/member.php?u=87556), who is a hitman, along for the ride. To actually do the deed.

At the house of @Yam12 (http://www.movieforums.com/community/member.php?u=95772), there's this crazed criminal from New Orleans called @edarsenal (http://www.movieforums.com/community/member.php?u=50536). He's like their boss. He's in charge of all the shady dealings they get involved with. She runs. I chase her. I go back to the car of @cricket (http://www.movieforums.com/community/member.php?u=68505) and start driving after her as she runs. I chase her in the car down this road, frightening her. Finally I slam my car into her and she falls to the pavement.

I get out of the car and see that @cat_sidhe (http://www.movieforums.com/community/member.php?u=95730) is bleeding badly. She wants me to help her. I bend down and smile at her. I give her a long, passionate kiss. And then I shoot her in the head.

My problem with this game -- there weren't many people playing it. In reality, there were 10 people, and some of them were newbies that had never played before, and some were alt accounts. Some were "deadly-ish." Suspect, 7thson, Seanc, maybe Edarsenal, maybe Nope. Cricket would have been deadly had he not been on my side. I was still afraid he'd betray me.

I'm glad that I won, I'm proud. It was a challenging game.... but it wasn't as tough as it could have possibly win. I'm not 100% happy about winning what kinda felt like "a small" Survivor game. It was kinda Survivor Jr.-ish to me. I really might not have been so lucky in a bigger game. But... with Cricket, maybe I would have.

I didn't really start playing until there were 9 people left, the day we voted out Sean. I believed that day it was already a done deal with you and Cat in the finals.

I can't help but think how having CosmicRunaway Camo and CiCi could have dramatically have made this game better. It was a bad game, but it lacked firepower because we didn't know what people like @catsidhe and edarsenal had to offer. I think both of the two of them were very good additions to the game and I hope to see them play again.

It seemed from a host side there were no true big blindsided this time around, maybe seanc but I figure he may have somewhat known as well.

Nope1172 and TheUsualSuspect should be considered some of the best to play the game. I know Nope hasn't won, but he's done damn good.

cricket is definitely capable of being a great player in this game

I can't believe Sexy Celebrity didn't quit. I thought for sure he was going to quit on my create a vacation challenge. I was gone for the weekend and it was a long drawn out challenge in a way that definitely tested his patience.

Dannii seriously could have been a good competitor socially. It's too bad we never got to see that happen. I don't know that she would have been voted out first although she had the most votes at the time.

I think 7thson game could be the best if we get some dominant forces in the game. Hope TONGO will join that as well.

I know it's not like sports, but by competing in sports it shows i am very competitive. I followed Survivor and it looked like fun, but a 'story' would not compete against pics, it's either everyone does a story or everyone does a pic, not a mixture of both. I won't be joining in anything else now.

IF I had deduced that cricket was lending his account then the smart move would have been to PM him, but I was looking to remove your security player, which, at the time was obvious, which would have left you alone to play out what ever "advantages" you had left to play and keeping us newbies on that one goal.

Being named winner by default because everyone else abandoned the game is not the same thing as cheating to win a game, but I don't think that either are legitimate.

To me, using Cricket's account to vote is no different from someone playing with an alt account. I think it's best left up to the host to decide what is fair in that regard, and I'm totally fine with whatever the host chooses. However, physically preventing someone from participating in a challenge is very shady, and I personally don't think that behaviour should be rewarded.

I really wish you hadn't confessed to that, because I was on your side and happy for your victory. Now I'm not sure how I feel.

It was definitely an ingenious move. You're a very clever player with a devious mind, which is perfect for a game like Survivor, where outwitting your opponents is encouraged.

I'm not saying that you didn't earn this victory, because you did work very hard for it. I just don't agree with the means by which you won. If I had played this game, I'd be very upset by that revelation. But as always, it's up to the host to decide what is and what isn't fair game.

I didn't want to do it. I at least didn't bother with changing the e-mail address -- Cricket could have easily reset the password, but not if I had changed the e-mail address. I felt bad doing it. And yet.... Cricket promised me Final 2.... and I knew this would wind up being an interesting story to share with everyone at some point. I meant it when I say I play to entertain. That's actually how I discovered you had deleted those Survivor stories. I was going to mention how you always write me as this overtly sexual and flirtatious character, which I find highly amusing because that's not like me at all. I went to look up what my character's name in the most recent one was (I was thinking Cassandra, but I'm not sure if that was right), and noticed that it was all gone.

There's always somebody who watches from the sidelines and causes trouble. Usually it's me.
I think the biggest disturbance from a spectator was definitely what happened at the end of Survivor 8. After I posted, I was really worried that mentioning my personal opinion in the thread instead of over PM or something might cause things to escalate, but I'm glad it didn't. I honestly wasn't intending to cause drama, I was just genuinely a bit shocked.

For a few minutes, I did know exactly how Tongo felt though haha.
