i ve always liked al pacino , i ve seen most if not all of his movies excepts the new ones, which i find a bit off beat, i prefer his older movies
and one of those movies is the 1989 sea of love romance thriller, i ve had a recent rewatch of this, and i have to say it is one of the most underrated romance thrillers ever made, i love everything about the story thr chemistry btw him abd ellen barkin is great, u can feel it and see it on screen, ellen has a great body i didn t notice this until i saw her in this film, i knew ellen from the 1991 movie Switch which i really liked aswell.
anw back to sea of love, i love how the intro of the film was done with a nice jazz music showing the newyork city we all love, bits and pieces and nook and cranny of the city, the movie felt that its gonna be good from the opening scene.
the movie has got a nice twist to make it as intriguing as it is, and micheal rooker is always good in his roles and he does what he does best here.
all in all i have to say i really like this film and a major recommendation for people who haven t seen it yet
have your say

I saw it at the movies and several times since, one of my favorite 80's movies. I had already known Barkin was hot after seeing her in The Big Easy. Sea of Love also features John Goodman and a teeny weeny appearance from Sam Jackson.

I really enjoyed this, and she was hot as hell choosing fruit in the supermarket.

I bought this because a coworker was in the beginning sting operation. I had him sign my copy for his 10 seconds of screen time.
