"At the start of this year, FOX gave a pilot order to “Ghosted,“ a supernatural comedy which has been described as a spoof of the network’s own series “The X-Files.” The pilot, which hails from 3Arts, Gettin’ Rad Productions and Twentieth Century Fox Television, had Craig Robinson and Adam Scott attached to star, and we’ve just learned FOX has given it a full-on series order.
THR (http://www.hollywoodreporter.com/live-feed/fox-orders-comedies-ghosted-la-vegas-1002262) reports today that the half-hour series was picked up by FOX as one of two new comedies for the 2017-18 season. The series will center on a cynical skeptic (Robinson) and a genius “true believer” in the paranormal (Scott) who are recruited by The Bureau Underground to look into the rampant “unexplained” activity in Los Angeles — all while uncovering a larger mystery that could threaten the existence of the human race.
Tom Gormican (That Awkward Moment) penned the script and executive produces alongside showrunner Kevin Etten, Robinson, Adam and Naomi Scott, 3 Arts’ Oly Obst, Mark Schulman and Jonathan Krisel, with the latter having directed the single-camera comedy pilot."
