Just watched the pilot for this ABC sitcom about a PR sports agent named Alice (Jenna Elfman) who created an imaginary friend named Mary as a child, who looks like a miniature polar bear who has reappeared as an adult Alice is three months into a relationship with a single dad named Ben (Stephen Schneider). Elfman is a proven TV commodity but she seems to be working way too hard to sell this premise, not to mention the fact that no one else is supposed to be able to see Mary, someone forgot to tell some of the other cast members. Schneider exudes some charm and Rachel Dratch is funny as the voice of Mary, but I don't know...I'm trying not to judge a show from just the pilot, so I'm going to try two more episodes, but right now...I don't know...right now I'd say that unless you have a hard on for Jenna Elfman...not looking good.
