I plan to check it out sometime. I take it it is a sad movie.

At the time it was out it was OK. I liked it. It was a nice family sit in movie, not to harsh on the intensive viewing but seemed to suit it's purpose in evoking a collective emotional reaction from the viewees.

I don't like it now.

It sort of remindsme of that 'Lost in Yonkers' movie with Richard Dreyfuss. I like that still. What's this genre called?
