Very good premiere, altough it's becoming a bit predictable to me.

Also I loved how Harmon&Roiland trolled everyone and released it on April Fools.

Adult Swim has thrown a few curve balls for April Fools, didn't they just air The Room (2003) during Toonami one year?

Not a bad episode and all, but I definitely agree that the show's kind of shot itself in the foot by encouraging audiences to expect the unexpected with all the various twists and turns that each episode can take. What matters is that it can maintain the momentum of its set-ups in such a way that its newfound predictability doesn't get boring (with a particular example from this episode being Rick constantly transferring his consciousness from body to body).
