Hi. I'm coffeegod. CG for short. I'm strictly a lower case kind of deity.
I'm female (mostly...I am a great handyman however), widowed, one kid, three dogs, and an equine who thinks he's a 1400 lbs. lapdog.
My abode is slap in the middle of the buckle of the bible belt. It ain't easy being a screaming liberal in these parts.
The important question is, what kind of coffee do you drink?

I'm not a fan of CG, but I do like coffee, so I'm conflicted.

oh... and hi, OP! I've not been here long myself. I totally feel your pain. I'm down here in the stain of Alabama that that same belt covers. I stopped screaming though, here years ago. Instead, I find passive-aggressive sarcasm helps bide my time.

Oh yea! I lived by the lakefront when I went to UNO.
Spent alot of time in Mid City.
And yes, got the bayou right in my back yard! Got three dogs and three cats I gotta make sure don't get too close to the alligators and nutria (which are way meaner).
I love going to Mississippi. Just got back from Natchez and am going to Biloxi on a weekend trip soon!
