After announcing he will re-brand Spike as The Paramount Network, Viacom CEO Bob Bakish is planning to turn MTV back to what it should be...music and the original reality series a la Real World I'm guessing as well as plan more live events and movie tie-ins. They are gonna do away with the dramas.

I stopped watching MTV once it was basically scripted material so if they go back to its original intention, I may just be tuning in again.

Reality shows still aren't MTV.

True, but the Real World didn't exactly overtake the music and then IDK what the heck happened...it was like the music was phased out except for what one-two hour blocks at most and not a good 20 hours of the day. I hope they go back to that route, more music than reality and drama stuff.
