I really thought this show was running out of steam, but the Thanksgiving episode had me rolling on the floor...the first really funny episode of the season, I hope someone on the production team took notes about what went right on this episode. This episode had flashes of brilliance...some really sharp writing and standout work from Ed O'Neill and Ty Burrell.
