Got hold of a pile of sawdust from a local wood cutters... for free!!!!!!
Spent pretty much the entire afternoon making miniature flock for wargames :D


Had to sieve the stuff, separate it all into grades, then dye it with acrylic.
On the radiator now to dry... once dry I can mix the 3 colours... 8 parts green, 2 parts red, 1 part yellow...

Hard to believe this stuff costs £10 a pack if you go to modelling shops and you get about a third of what you see in this picture.
I've made this lot in the picture for less than 10 pence 😲 ... plus, the stuff I got left, the sawdust, the paint et al, will make about another 50 times what you see in this picture.

Took that miniature flock I posted ^^, mixed it, and combined with some cut/shaped polystyrene, made some plinth stuff for wargames.
