If you are a registered voter in the US, please fill this out - I'm curious to compare us to the actual results. The polls sometimes use less than 100 people, and if many participate, we might be close, though I know this place is probably more pro-Hillary, but again, I just wanna compare to this huge event 8 days and 8 hours away.
I'll make this private just like it is in real life...

I'd vote Hillary, but I won't participate in the poll as I'm not American so it kind of goes against what you're going for here.

I voted Johnson here. Despite not even knowing anything about him, that's who I'm leaning toward come election time. I'm not voting for Clinton, and I've been waiting for Trump to earn my vote. He hasn't done it yet.

Yeah, unlike the other non-americans here i'm not voting not because i'm not American, but because there's no Vermin Supreme on the poll to vote for.

Yeah me too, I don't find Hillary or Trump entertaining. I do find the U.S. electoral system a joke, but not a funny one:(

Well, anyone other than Trump or Hillary is a protest vote anyway. And the loudest place a protest vote can go is to someone who might actually win electoral votes. He obviously won't win them where you or I live, but if he wins them anywhere, the votes he gets elsewhere will be amplified.
however if theres two more who were in the background of all of this. why are they not more vocal now that both of them are incredibly hated.
They have, but they have glaring flaws of their own. Johnson keeps putting his foot in his mouth, isn't especially libertarian, and Stein, in addition to flirting with anti-vacination propaganda, literally has a warrant out for her arrest.
Voting for someone other than the two candidates is tricky because you're essentially sacrificing your vote this time in order to influence the types of candidates you get in future elections. I think this is perfectly valid, but most people tend to overstate the importance of the election in front of them and are loathe to cast a ballot with less certain, longer-term implications.

Both major candidates suck but the idea of a Trump presidency scares me more so I voted for Clinton (I vote absentee and already sent my ballot).

I'm actually nervous now about your election.
Everyone in the UK thought we would stay in the EU. I vividly remember both sides of the campaign declaring Remain would win it when the polls shut, and then yeah :sick: now our currency is crashing and hate crimes have shot through the roof.
I think the whole world is tense at this point now though :lol:

I think that whilst hate crimes have marginally increased, the fact that we voted to leave the EU means that they are now just being reported more often, rather than occurring. A lot of reports are things that I have seen/heard take place all through my life, but now when it happens people are thinking "this is because we left the EU" and are talking about it because its topical.

If I were an American I would also consider voting for Trump. Thing is, Obama's government economic performance has been pretty dismal, foreign policy, not very good either so they could use a change. Now, Trump might not be a change for good but it he is really, really bad, then he will lose the re-election. And he cannot do that much damage if congress is against him in his more crazy ideas. Although he could start WW3 I don't think Hillary is the safe option in that regard.

he can do alot of damage just by his mouth and pissing off people way more powerful and even crazier than him. it will also say alot about how little people care about sexual harrassment and violence against women if that man is voted president.
