OK guys, my first time hosting one of these so be gentle. I wanted to add the other 10 general HOFs, so:

Anyway the rules:
Procedure:
Everyone watches the nominated movies and will discuss them in this thread. You need to write at least a short paragraph about your thoughts on each movie, after you watch it. Part of the process is discussion of the movies as a group.
Any film under 220 minutes can be nominated, except for previous Hof winners. PM your nominations to me and include: film title, director, year of release...and a short write-up of why you nominated it (optional). Keep your nomination a secret until the unveiling of the films.
Dropouts: Don't join if you don't intend to watch all the films. It's wrong to join and make people spend their time watching your movie, only to drop out when you get bored or your movie gets poor reviews. If you can't finish this, don't join...Members who don't finish will be disqualified and their movie nomination removed from the Hof. Please make sure you have the time to complete this.
I just lazily copied this from Citizens amazing 10th HOF which i linked to. So please nominate, i'll edit this post later so it is more inviting. Hope we get something decent going :)

Also please send me your noms as soon as you've decided because i'm really curious.

I'm thinking about it. My schedule has been so crazy recently that I haven't had enough time for a HoF, so I'm trying to figure out if I'll be able to put the time into this to finish it. The problem isn't just finding the time to watch the movies, but also finding the time to write about them. (I watched all but one movie in the recent Film Noir HoF, but I haven't had the time to write about most of them. )
Miss Vicky

I've got it narrowed down to four possibilities, but can't decide between them.

I've already said to others i'll be a bit more generous with the time. I'll stick to the one a week standard but as long as it is established members like you, i'm fine giving a bit more time if needed because i know life can get in the way in an instant. If someone signs up tomorrow and joins i won't slow things down for them, but as long as any member i know who joins tells me that they can't finish as soon as they know they won't be able too, i'd rather they join and see what happens. Of course if anyone objects to this then say so please because i don't want to alienate anyone.
So yeah hope you join :)

Just think this is BJM, Hedwig, Queer As Folk, except i have to watch it.

I'm pretty sure people are going to hate one of the ones I want to nominate. Another one I think too many people have already seen. And the other two I'm not sure how people are going to react. This is hard.
And the other two I'm not sure how people are going to react.
One of these is the best choice IMO.
people are going to hate one of the ones I want to nominate.
This next, if you love it go for it. Got to admit i got annoyed with some of the comments about my nom in the 10th even though it didn't finish last. Thankfully Cricket really liked it and made me feel normal from his placing of it
.Another one I think too many people have already seen
Go for it if you want to. This is supposed to be a HOF and people purposefully avoid films they think are too obvious when they really shouldn't, i'm fine with what it has become but it is pretty funny that people won't nominate a film they think is amazing because they think everyone has seen it.
Miss Vicky
09-14-16, 01:10 AM
Well I did a search and it turns out one of the "not sure how people are going to react" films you've already seen and don't like.
That last one wasn't directed at you sorry haha. I just think we'd never see something like The Godfather nominated because it is such a well known and popular film which i think is absurd for something like a Hall of Fame. I could feel the groans when i nominated Once Upon A Time In The West in the Westerns HOF because it was the most obvious one. Well it is my favourite Western so i thought it deserved a place in the HOF more than any other. haha
Miss Vicky
09-14-16, 02:25 AM
Okay. I picked one.
Okay. I picked one.
Yeah, MV makes four, five including me but i haven't picked anything yet. Six including Cricket who i was stalking earlier when he was looking at this thread, gonna take it to heart if you don't join this. :coleman: Eight if we include two unnamed others who said they'd join.
I was thinking and i'd rather no one write anything about their noms when they send them to me. I think this was an optional idea from the 1st HOF, which is good in theory but some would rather not or would rather re watch it and do a proper review or whatever. I won't be including any write ups because it kind of highlights the ones that didn't write anything.
Sorry to the few that already sent me stuff, i'll include that in the reveal if you want.
Miss Vicky
09-14-16, 03:13 AM
No worries.
Miss Vicky didn't write anything guys, it was her that lobbied me to make the change.
It wasn't, i just thought of that myself and i'm already regretting it haha.

I don't know right now whether I will join this or not. I have to really think about it (I don't even have an inkling of what I would nominate). If it would've been a month ago, I probably would've given a definite yes, but things have just changed so dramatically in my life at the moment.
I will think about it, though.
Got Cricket and Neiba's nominations and added my own . So that's 7 would like another 3 at least. Understood if you can't join Vamp, we'd love to have you so i'll keep a space for you, gbg too.
This was brilliant Omni:

Had to rep you for it, bet whoever repped you felt like a fool after you pulled the rug from under us in your next comment :p
Also i'm replacing Neiba's nom with Mighty Morphin Power Rangers: The Movie, for him threatening to nominate the 2003 Uefa Cup Final :coleman:

I meant committed timewise, I thought that was apparent, but I suppose if you're assuming I'm referring to having already PMed a movie it's less apparent.
Alternatively I could just be evil.
haha. Yeah, i was joking. It's just that your first comment could've been taken the wrong way as if you were saying you're committed to this HOF. Obviously you realized that since you quickly corrected it.

Probably not a good idea for me to join though. Hopefully sometime...
Topsy just sent her nom which brings us to 8. Two more and then i think we may as well just start. gbg and Vamp are maybes if they haven't decided by the time we start i'll hold a place for them as long as no one has a problem with it, can't see why anyone would though as this is going to be a pretty small HOF.

Got Cosmics nom. I'll try to do the reveal soon, not got enough time to do it right now as i'm going out to eat shortly. gbg and Vamp are still maybes as far as i'm aware and if everyone is ok with it i'm fine with them still joining after the reveal as long as it isn't a long while after we've started. Think gbg might make her decision after she sees the noms in case she thinks something looks too gory or whatever. There's only one that i think could be but i'm just going off the title i know nothing about it.

I love your nomination Neiba. 👍 Kiss Kiss Bang Bang is one of those movies I watch every Winter because it incidentally takes place during Christmas haha.
For my nomination, even if you're not familiar with the issues surrounding German reunification, Good Bye, Lenin! is still a very clever and charming film that has a nice blend of comedy, drama, and political commentary. I think it's a shame that it doesn't seem to have much exposure here (right now there is nothing for it in the Review section), so hopefully some of you guys will appreciate this film as much as I do. :)
Great stuff! This'll be my first Kobayashi film, and he's a director I've been curious about.
Moonrise Kingdom
(Love it. Second or third favourite Wes and he is one of my favourite directors.)
Her
(Love it, one of my favourites of the decade. Hate that MV didn't pick something i could ***** on though since she'll no doubt do so to mine :D)
Samarai Rebellion
(So glad this was picked. Harakiri is one of my favourite films and i also love Kwaidan. Been meaning to see more Kobayashi for ages.)
The Flowers of War
(The only one i hadn't heard of. Really like Hero a lot by Zhang so i'm looking forward to it.)
The Dead Girl
(I had heard of this but i know nothing about it so i don't have a clue what to expect)
Kiss Kiss Bang Bang
(Watched this earlier this year and didn't like it that much, sorry. Going to make sure to rewatch it as i might appreciate it more now)
Le Cercle Rouge
(Again, so glad this was nominated. Le Samourai and Army of Shadows are two of my favourite films and i've been meaning to see this for ages.)
Embrace of the Serpent
(Looks cool but i don't have a clue what it is about. Looking forward to it because i think Swan has great taste and he's been really passionate about this.)
Good Bye Lenin!
(Same as Topsy's. I had heard of this but don't have a clue what this is about so i don't have a clue what to expect.)
Bringing Up Baby
(With the grim (still don't find it grim myself) Dead Man's Shoes as my choice last time i decided to go for something lighter and i don't think there are many more pleasant films than this for me anyway. It's not actually my favourite Hawks or even my favourite Hawks rom-com both would be His Girl Friday but i figured the lightning fast dialogue would alienate some people. Some might find this a bit silly, and i know K-Heps character gets on somes nerves but i just love it and think both her and Grant have mad chemistry here. Can't wait to watch it again)
Good varied set of noms. I've already seen 4/10 but i'm planning on rewatching at least 2 of them.

So yeah, just start whenever and have fun :)
And don't think i'm accepting any list with Bringing Up Baby lower than #2

I've been meaning to watch Moonrise Kingdom, Her, and Embrace the Serpent, so at least now I have more motivation to do so. I have to say that I like the variety of films in this HoF, though it will probably make it harder to rank them at the end.

I'm glad to see another Wes Anderson film as I haven't seen many of them.

I was wanting to watch this one for a long time, glad it's here.
Samurai Rebellion (Masaki Kobayashi, 1967) Nominated By Cricket
I recently watched this one and was blown away by the intricacy of the story, this is a well done film.
Kiss Kiss Bang Bang (Shane Black, 2005)Nominated By Neiba
This was on my radar, I seen it on Gideon's reviews and he really liked it.
Bringing Up Baby (Howard Hawks, 1938)Nominated By Camo
This is one of the first 'old' films I watched when I got into movies. So looking forward to revisiting it.
The Flowers of War (Zhang Yimou, 2011) Nominated By Citizen
This one is mine, the director did Raise the Red Lantern. I really liked this movie so wanted to share it with everyone.
Embrace of the Serpent (Ciro Guerra, 2015)Nominated By Swan
Very cool, I also wanted to watch this every since I seen it talked about here at MoFo.
Le Cercle Rouge (Jean-Pierre Melville, 1970)Nominated By Sean
I have no idea. But my wife speaks fluent french so she can translate for me:)
The Dead Girl (Karen Moncreiff, 2006) Nominated By Topsy
Yeah another interesting one from Topsy!
Good Bye, Lenin! (Wolfgang Becker, 2003)Nominated By Cosmic
I never heard of this one, but it sounds interesting. I've had good luck with German films.
though it will probably make it harder to rank them at the end.
I've seen 4 and 3 of them are all time favourites, not sure how i'm going to rank those. Then i've seen 2 films each from Melville and Kobayashi and all of those are favourites as well so it would be weird if i didn't at least like their films nominated this HOF. Ranking is going to be murder for me.

I think I PM'ed you while watching the movie and it was it at a 5 at the moment, but by the end of the movie, it dropped to 4. 'Cause that's how films work with me. Their ratings are always shifting in my mind as the movie goes on, until I've finally settled on something at the very end.

And your leaving out the clues i gave you. You've discussed/debated/argued/whatever with MV about it, it's not in her top ten, you hated it (this may have been what tripped you up but i changed it to you were negative about it), you made lots of really long posts about it and it came out in the last 5 years :D

Those were all the ones he guessed. I thought it was more for some reason. It was mostly really funny because i was thinking that he must be thinking i'm just telling him he is wrong to annoy him, which i would've kept doing after he guessed it if i was smart.

The 24th Day (http://www.movieforums.com/community/showthread.php?anchor=1&p=1453374#post1453374) was one of the four I was considering, but due to issues resulting from its low budget I was afraid people would hate it. You told me it wasn't a musical the way i was thinking it was going to be and SC told me; well actually his review from 5 years ago or whatever told me you don't see the angry inch.
Queer As Folk i expected too be really graphic i guess it was but not to the extent i was imagining, i think you said you were overstating it a bit to make a point about Ned. And i watched the 90 Minute premiere that night followed by the next one the next day.
I think i am definitely uncomfortable with certain gay stuff. I'm uncomfortable with certain Hetero stuff depicted in film as well like Lars Von Triers Nymphomaniac, ugh that film grosses me out. Still i think i've watched and enjoyed more LGBT stuff this year especially.

There's more graphic stuff later on in the season. Also I still don't believe Ned.

What I saw of Nymphomaniac was boring AF. I couldn't finish it.

Same. He voted on less in the second set but i don't believe he had seen all of them.
I think the only film i like less than the Nymphomaniac films this decade is Minions.

Kiss Kiss Bang Bang has a gay protagonist.
Seen it earlier this year, wasn't a fan. Must've been those gays.
Going to watch it again for this because there was some stuff i liked in it so i think i might like it more on a rewatch.
Ok, here's how it is as far as I have understood: The Battle of Red Cliff was released originally as two movies in China, each about 150 min long. When they released it internationally, they cut the two films into one 148 min long movie. This is the one I've seen. I wasn't aware of this until just now, but it's still my mistake. Since I haven't actually seen the entire story, I will retract my nomination and think of another. However, I've got to get up in about 7 hours and go to work, so I won't be back for like 20 hours. If that's too long a wait for another nomination, say so and I will remove my nomination completely and let you guys get started. For now, I gotta go. Bye!
Nah, it's cool mate we'll wait :). We've got 11 weeks to kill in this HOF haha.

I watched Samurai Rebellion for the 60's countdown on recommendation from our old friend Sane. I think it is a great hidden gem with an 8.4 IMDb rating, 100% Rotten Tomatoes, and 4/4 from Ebert. Not only does it feature the director and star of Harakiri, it also stars the great Toshiro Mifune. I think it's a movie that's going to surprise a lot of people, not only by how good it is, but also with the types of themes it explores. Out of all the Hall of Fames I've been in, this is the first time I've actually thought it was possible that my nomination has a chance to win.
The Red Circle is one of five movies I've seen from director Jean-Pierre Melville, and it is the one I enjoyed the most. It is also a movie that did not stay with me. It is definitely a great flick, but I don't know if I will love it or just like it when I watch it again.
My wife and I watched Kiss Kiss Bang Bang a few years ago and neither one of us liked it. I've been interested in seeing it again because it would seem to suit my taste, and it is a very popular movie.
Moonrise Kingdom was the first Wes Anderson film I saw, and I did not like it. I have since enjoyed the other movies I've seen of his, and I'm hoping that I may have warmed up to his style, and that my second viewing will be an improvement.
I have been intending to watch Her at some point, despite the fact that I don't anticipate liking it all that much. What gives me hope is that I've had great luck with past nominations and recommendations from Miss Vicky.
I recently looked up Embrace of the Serpent on IMDb after Swan and a couple of other members raved about it. It did not capture my interest. However, most of my new favorites from the past few years have come from unexpected surprises.
I know that Bringing Up Baby is a significant classic, and because of that, I was already planning on seeing it at some point.
Goodbye Lenin, The Dead Girl, and The Flowers of War are all unknowns to me.

What I struggle with the most are musicals, fantasy, and historical costume drama.
Musicals for me too, that's my #1 struggle but i've been trying to be more open minded with them recently. I like quite a lot of Fantasy films but i'm not sure how well i think of the genre as a whole because i think too many things can fit into that definition. Costume Drama's i'm really not sure, haven't seen enough to say one way or the other.
I struggle with Sci-Fi a lot tbh. Doesn't matter if it is ridiculous Sci-Fi Comedy or deep meaningful stuff, i often find myself bored during a lot of them. I have some favourites that are Sci-Fi but if i'm honest at this point i'd have to add it.

Yeah, you're right. That's exactly what you said actually. I was about to ask if there's not one with a higher percentage of duds for you but that would really depend on how much you watch from each and if you don't have a dislike of any genre then i don't think it would be notable.

I've seen this movie once before, but it was a few years ago and all I could really recall about it was that I wasn't impressed.
I gave it a watch today since it was announced as one of the nominations for the 11th MoFo Hall of Fame. Overall, it was a good bit of fun. It had some really witty dialogue and I enjoyed the banter between Robert Downey, Jr., who I generally like anyway, and Val Kilmer, who I generally don't like (Tombstone and The Doors being the exceptions). However, I didn't feel any strong emotional connection with any character so my enjoyment of the film was pretty superficial. I suppose that's appropriate since the film itself strikes me as being pretty light fare - which isn't necessarily a bad thing, but also isn't quite what I hope for from a Hall of Fame nomination.
I also wasn't exactly enamored with the story. For being something that is neither science fiction nor fantasy, this movie demands a considerable amount of suspension of disbelief. There are entirely too many coincidences and convenient situations. To call it implausible would be an understatement.
Still, it was an easy watch and I do like me some Robert Downey, Jr.

I definitely agree with this. The relationship between RDJ and Kilmer (and their banter) is definitely what makes this movie for me. It's not a new dynamic, but it's one I enjoy nonetheless. It's a rather quotable movie for me as well, but maybe that's just because everyone I know seems to be bad at basic math.

Kiss Kiss Bang Bang (2005)
Dir. Shane Black
Starring: Robert Downey Jr., Val Kilmer
Kiss Kiss Bang Bang may be be your typical noir-esque detective story, but it has plenty of tongue-in-cheek humour and great chemistry between the lead actors to keep you interested throughout. As I've already said in the thread, this film is an annual tradition for me and my friends due to its incidental festive setting, but also because it's highly entertaining, even upon repeat viewings. With every plot complication, the situation becomes more and more ridiculous, to the point of being borderline cartoonish. In this case, instead of detracting from the film as a whole, I think it just adds to its charm.
I wasn't a huge fan of Shane Black's Nice Guys, and I feel like my love for this movie is partly to blame for that. I went into Nice Guys expecting KKBB2, but I left rather disappointed. I do sometimes wonder if I'd feel the opposite way if I had seen The Nice Guys first, but the characters, the action, and the quirky dialogue just all seem to work better in Kiss Kiss Bang Bang, or at least they do for me. It just seems to strike the right balance.
If you want something entirely serious, this definitely isn't the movie for you. But if you want something that's part homage, part parody, and occasionally pretty witty, then I hope you give this movie a chance.

The Dead Girl (Karen Moncrieff, 2006)
Imdb (http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0783238/?ref_=fn_al_tt_1)
Date Watched: 9/16/16

Well, I asked for heavy...
The Dead Girl presents the stories of five women - each affected in different ways by the actions of a serial killer. One finds the body of one of the victims. Another believes that body to be her sister, who went missing 15 years prior. The third is the mother of the victim, who discovers the full tragedy of her daughter's life when she comes to identify the body. The fourth is frustrated wife who must face facts when she discovers the secret her unloving husband has been hiding. And the fifth is the victim herself.
The premise of the story is interesting and the film is carried in the capable hands of its talented cast - including Brittany Murphy, Toni Collette, Giovanni Ribisi, Rose Byrne, James Franco, Mary Steenburgen, Kerry Washington, and Josh Brolin - who all turn in solid performances. Yet it somehow feels incomplete.
We get only brief glimpses into the characters lives and not enough of each to for me to truly connect with any. There are lots of open ends and unanswered questions. Add to that a complete lack of levity - with layer upon agonizing layer of depressing - and you have me being thankful that it's just under 90 minutes long. It strikes me as a film with a very good concept but disappointing execution.

Actually, the reason I was waiting to make a decision about joining this HoF is because we're still having power and gas problems here at the co-op, and it's been killing my schedule. (That's why I've been online mostly at night for the past few months.) We were supposed to have some kind of pressure test done earlier this week, but I think the co-op may have failed again because we never got any notice about the results. :(
But I looked at the nominations, and I'm going to pass on this HoF either way. At a glance, it looks like about half the nominated movies are foreign films, (non-English), and of the noms that are left, there's one that I've seen and I love, one that I've seen and I liked, two that I've seen but didn't like, and the one English movie that I haven't seen doesn't sound like my kind of movie. :(
I'll probably try to watch (or rewatch) some of the movies anyway, but I've decided against joining this time.

Because foreign equals bad?
No, foreign doesn't mean bad. I just don't like reading subtitles because my vision isn't very good, and my TV is too small for subtitles, so I tend to rewind a lot or miss parts of the movie, so they take me out of the movie. There are a few foreign movies that I've liked, but overall, the subtitles just remind me that I'm watching a movie, so I don't get into them the way most other people do, and I usually like them less than they deserve.

I get what you're saying but I think raul can be way too negative sometimes. I think he says stuff without realizing they often come off as disses, even if he doesn't mean to, and I think Camo might have felt that way about it.

http://www.davisenterprise.com/files/2013/02/0217-Moonrise-KingdomW-1024x744.jpg
When I watched this a couple years ago, it was the first movie I'd seen from director Wes Anderson. I thought it was goofy and I didn't like it. Since then, I've watched Fantastic Mr. Fox, Rushmore, and The Grand Budapest Hotel, and I've enjoyed all of them to various degrees. Maybe the director is an acquired taste because I liked Moonrise Kingdom a whole lot more this time. I would now replace goofy with quirky, and then at the very least, add amusing. The movie has a great cast, but the real star is the visuals. Every single scene is a treat to look at, and that's something I've come to appreciate more over the last couple years. The dialogue is funny and clever. It's not too long and is an easy watch. I'm not too thrilled about a 12 or 13 year old girl prancing around in her underwear, although it doesn't hurt my overall enjoyment, and I also didn't like the death of the dog. I'm glad it was nominated because I will now think of it as a good movie, and it's probably even better than that.

I plan to watch either Moonrise Kingdom or Her today. I'm leaning more towards Her though. If I'm not really in the mood to watch a Wes Anderson movie, I find his movies really difficult to sit through. Like cricket, I think his style might be an acquired taste, but one that I haven't quite acquired yet.
Glad you are starting to enjoy Anderson more Cricket. I think he is an aquired taste. I think once you start liking his humor then the rest starts to fall in line. Unfortunately the animal death thing is a staple. I think it is in nearly every Anderson film.

I thought it'd be my last place movie when it was nominated, but I doubt that now.
I was completely indifferent to Rushmore and Tennenbaums when they were released. I saw Moonrise at the theater when it was released and loved it. That started me down a rabbit hole of what I hadn't seen and rewatches and everything just clicked. He is now my favorite director. I just feel he is the perfect blend of everything I respond too. Great writer of humor blended with serious themes. His visuals are fabulous. Inventive and colorful with wonderful world building.
I nominated Rushmore, my fave Anderson, for one of the halls and it crashed and burned. I will be interested to see how Moonrise does. If it isn't my #2, something blew my mind.

Going to try to get in another movie or two today. Still waiting on my holds from the Library to come in, so it'll be either Samurai Rebellion, Flowers of War, or Embrace of the Serpent.

I don't know if anyone reads these reviews before they see the film (I do usually)...but I want to say I do not spoil the movie plot or ending in any of my write ups, so it's just my overall impression of the film. And it's safe to read before you watch the film.

From the title you might think this is a martial arts film....it's not!
It's a serious drama and a movie that I think will surprise you guys, as it's story is very melodramatic and I mean that in a good way.
Japanese culture is fascinating to me especially it's past history and that's where this movie is set in 1725, in the days of samurai and feudal land owners. It's a very dynamic film that explores the culture, the values, and the dynamics of a family at odds with each itself. I think this is one of the best of Japanese cinema I've seen and I seen some good ones. Oh and OK there is some sword fighting for action towards the end, and I like that too, it's exciting and comes at the right time in the story. I think Cricket has a great nomination here.
Wow, what an incredibly set of movies!!! This promises to be a great HoF!!!
Moonrise Kingdom - Part of my Top 100, my favourite Wes Anderson movie. Can't wait to rewatch it!
Her - Part of my Top 100, I've been wanting to rewatch this with my gf, with whom I watched in the cinema when it came out!)
Samarai Rebellion - It's a Kobayashi, so of course I'll love it!
The Flowers of War - Never heard of it!
The Dead Girl - Never heard of it!
Kiss Kiss Bang Bang - My nom. Pretty much the most fun I had watching a movie ever. It's a neo noir comedy with a mindblowing perfomance by Robert D. Jr., and a hilarious script!
Le Cercle Rouge - Been on my watchlist for ages.
Embrace of the Serpent - Have heard of it, but know nothing about it.
Good Bye Lenin! - Amazing film, that I haven't seen for a while! It'll be a pleasure to rewatch.
Bringing Up Baby - Never heard of it.
4/10 watched, and I loved all of the 4 I watched! Niiiiice!!!!

I've only seen 3 and that's counting my own.
Vamp PMd me to say she can't join this one btw, and gbg said the same of course. So i won't be accepting any others since some have already started, just the 11 of us once Clazor changes his nom.

Too bad they can't participate, but 11 movies for the 11th Hall of Fame does seem oddly appropriate.
Glad you are beginning to like Wes more Cricket.

Same here. That was what the hell.
I was completely indifferent to Rushmore and Tennenbaums when they were released.
Rushmore was the first Wes i ever saw and i loved it right away. Either that or Moonrise is my second fave of his behind Fantastic Mr.Fox. On the other hand i despised Tennenbaums the first time i watched it and had no intention of watching it again until one day i couldn't pick anything on Netflix so i just went for that fully expecting to turn it off after 10 minutes. Thankfully i like it quite a bit now.

Sent in my nomination.
Well Guap technically you are too late. I'm ok with you still joining but if anyone else has a problem with it then i'll have to say no sorry. I'll take your nom for now until i hear from everybody. Looks interesting. It is Bashu The Little Stranger btw, an Iranian Drama.

I'm OK with Guap joining. I've never seen an Iranian film so that should be a treat.
Put the latest writeups on the first page. I'm not going to announce that every time it's just to let you know i haven't forgot.

This.
Not seen an Iranian film either. I've been meaning to see some Kiarostami films since he died but haven't gotten around to it even though i have two ready. Guap hates his films as well.

And here I thought I was actually going to get a Guapo free HOF.
I'm not finding that movie from a source that my antivirus software approves of and I just recently spent a lot of time and money getting my computer cleaned up of infected files so I'm not taking chances. Amazon doesn't have it, Hulu doesn't have it, Netflix doesn't have it. iTunes doesn't have it. My library doesn't have it. YouTube has it but it has no subtitles.
I'm fine with him joining this early on, but people need to take accessibility into consideration when they choose their nominations because I'm not watching that.
Got Clazors nom up. It's Ronin 1998. I watched it when i was about 12 but barely remember it.
So that's it as long as no one has a problem with Guap joining it's the 12 of us.
because I'm not watching that.
I'll ask him to change it if need be then. When i searched it to find a poster a Veoh link came up but i didn't try it.

My antivirus software gave a warning for that link.
I'll message him in a minute and direct him here. Coz he may have a better link for it, if not he'll have to change it.
