View Full Version : Pick A Movie For Me (Chain Game)

Picking up from TONGO's thread here (http://www.movieforums.com/community/showthread.php?t=46549).
Here's how it works:
You pick somebody. They recommend you a movie. Then they pick somebody.
This thread is dependent on invites and participation so post here if you'd like to opt in (and if you'd like to opt out), you can pick somebody who hasn't posted in the thread yet so long as they participate.
You are not allowed to pick the person who picked you and you are not allowed to pick someone who still has a movie to watch.
Please include the release date along with the movie title in your suggestion.
Reviews are welcome, but not mandatory, you may post them here or link to them.
The following is the current chain with completed links removed. Everyone here has suggested a movie, but haven't completed or chosen their requested movie. If a username appears in this list you cannot pick it.

Howl (2015) Im in the last 15-20 minutes, and I have just seen the absolute stupidest act Id ever seen in a horror movie happening right now...
The guy with glasses and the Ax decided hes wander into the woods all by himself, because he heard something!!!! -facepalm squared-
Howl (2015)
Great werewolf flick. The first 30 minutes it comes off like your typical horror movie formula, but as the film progresses the quality starts to show thru. These were the least hairy werewolves Ive ever seen, but they looked good. If youre in the mood for a horror flick, and to put your critical mind at the door, then Howl is a great watch. ;)

Unless something has changed in the rules, multiple people can join, and you don't have to wait for Cricket to choose somebody. You can't choose someone who is black font as they means they haven't watched there movie yet.
You are not allowed to pick the person who picked you and you are not allowed to pick someone who still has a movie to watch.

I saw it but it's been about 30 years and I don't remember it at all. I actually thought of it a couple months ago and was thinking that I'd like to see it again. That's a great choice for me!
Ive seen an Art film, a Kung Fu movie, and a Werewolf movie I never would have seen before :)

Wait a minute, so..the game is about inviting someone to suggest you a movie? I thought it was the other way around. That it was about inviting someone to watch a movie.
What I thought: Tongo invites cricket to watch Movie A
What it really is?: Tongo invites cricket to suggest him a movie, cricket said TONGO should totally watch movie A. Now cricket needs someone to invite someone too.

Just an idea: under the chain list, make a second heading of people who are wanting into the game but can't join right now as we're waiting on someone to complete their link of the chain.
That way one could look at the list and see who was available when the time was right to add a new link to the chain.
I might try this again if I knew who was still wanting to participate....and I'm too lazy to read through both threads to find out who wanted in:p Like I said just a idea for a tweak that might make the game more fun & easier.

It's not a bad idea, but I'd have to delete and retype names over and over again even though that information is available in the thread you'll be posting in anyway.
Tatmmw2's up for a go it seems.
If anybody else from the other thread is still interested, please show your interest with a bump.

The Lion In Winter - 4
https://s18.postimg.org/49ronk63t/download.jpg
O'Toole and Hepburn were outstanding. So was a young Anthony Hopkins (even with that ridiculous fake beard). The film is obviously fictional, the only things historically accurate are the names and the period (the characters of Richard and John make that plainly obvious.:D). The dialogue during the exchanges between Hepburn and O'Toole was great, making the transfer from stage to screen seem practically seamless. Hepburn stole the show. Despite her advanced years she still looked stunning. One of the most attractive women to ever grace the silver screen.

He played Henry II in Beckett, younger version with the same energy, but he truly was in the zone with The Lion In Winter. Easily my favorite performance of his of all time.

15 minutes into this.....NOT the film I really would choose to see. No offense to Inmate or the film but I just broke up with my ex-fiance due to her untreated schizophrenia and alcoholism. How Falk is desperately wanting her to be on an even keel.....Ill finish it, but only cause its my duty. Let me clarify, the movies brilliant. In fact its so brilliantly acted, directed, and convincing that its killing me
Hey, they cant all be winners

Then somebody needs to pick Clazor, he's patiently waiting to join.
Since Tat said no, I doubt thered be a problem if Clazor was the pick instead.

An American Werewolf in London (1981) rating_3_5+
https://bradscribe.files.wordpress.com/2015/10/an-american-werewolf-in-london-dead-jack-2.gif
Charming cinematic creation. Half the humor seems to be of a Jewish and self-deprecating variety, at least that's how I picked up on it. The nurse is a babe. The werewolf transformation scenes are awesome. With all the Disney memorabilia, makes me wonder whether this was a closet Disney production or a European jab in Walt's direction. Make-up and gore were all very nicely done.

The World According To Garp
http://i65.tinypic.com/2vv6z9s.jpg
I liked this. Solid performance by Williams. I personally think he has had a few better but this would rank up with his best. Great casting of young Garp. Oh man, i could totally see that kid growing up to be Robin Williams haha. Close was great as his mum. Completely nuts, but she was great. That scene with the prostitute, was so awkward haha. I wasn't expecting it to go down the road it did, there were plenty of dark scenes throughout which took me by surprise since it seemed pretty tame for the first hour. The car accident and assassination scenes, as well as just the idea of the Jamesians especially shocked me.
I felt a bit bad for Garp at times but all the same he had no real right to be jealous/bitter. Well other than his mum telling him not to right about her, and she went on to write about him anyway.
This kinda reminded me of a much darker Forrest Gump. Mostly because it is pretty quirky and comedic while it always has this unconfronted sadness lingering about. Also probably because of the length of time that passes, since we see Garp from the day he is born until he is a married man with children. It was really funny and sweet at times too.
Anyway, thanks for the nom TONGO. I didn't like it as much as you but i did enjoy it. I mostly liked that it wasn't what i was expecting at all, well not the second half anyway.
Again i'm up for being picked again but i'd suggest whoever else hasn't had a shot yet is picked before me.

So, let's see what we got here, Mr. Citizen. *Looks at favourites* Right...haven't seen a one...but...*Cracks knuckles* that shouldn't stop me dead. TO IMDB!

So, musicals, drama, noir and romance in diffrent combinations. I think I will go to the crime side of things, a little revenge, some stolen loot, a pinch of Kris Kristofferson. I think I've mentioned this before as a movie that I thought was noir at a time when I hadn't seen any. Well, if this doesn't work I have a back-up from when I went through your lists, but here goes. Have you seen...Payback (1999)?

Great review Camo  Yeah George Roy Hill told John Irvins story brilliantly (same author of Cider House Rules), and imo better than. Whatever someone expects from the film, I think theyd be hard pressed to not be surprised. Very quirky yet endearing and impactful because of it. What rating would you give it?
I really don't know, i'll have to think about it some more i'll come back to you later. I'm really annoyed because i had more to say about it but when i went to write it my mind just went blank. Hate when that happens.

Thats a very honest answer, that movie is hard to rate.
Its my personal favorite film of all time, I know its not a 5 star film though it had that effect on me, Id have to think about it too if I rated it.

I haven't seen the Director's Cut in awhile, but from what I remember: the opening scene is cut (and removes some foreshadowing with it), Mel Gibson's voice over that provides a lot of character motivation is completely absent, I remember the music being different, and Straight Up cut out practically all of the climactic final confrontation for a more subdued finale.

The version that's on Netflix right now (at least in Canada) is the regular/theatrical version. It confuses me, because it has the same image as my DVD for the Straight Up edition. But the theatrical cut is around 1hr 40, and the Director's Cut is 1hr 30, so you can tell them apart that way.
Ha! Ive never heard of a Directors Cut being shorter before.

Yeah it seems really odd, but they just cut a lot of things that I thought worked for the theatrical film, and didn't add anything to fill in those gaps.

Off the top of my head the only film where I liked the directors cut more than the theatrical was Godfather I & II. Good Will Hunting, they actually never released a Directors Cut, they should. In the deleted scenes theres almost 20-30 minutes of Ben Affleck being hysterical. He sacrificed the bulk of his part so the film could be released, and it wouldnt hurt the overall story not being in there.

I liked the relatively unnecessary Director's Cut for Lethal Weapon. That one minute they added makes like, all the difference. It really doesn't.
Thinking about Director's Cuts, I think I've only ever seen the longer cuts for Das Boot. I should probably get around to watching the shorter version, I might like it more (though I do really like the Director's Cut of Das Boot as it is).
That's interesting. One of my favorites and I have never watched the deleted scenes. I will have to prioritize that.
So quick Q, If I were to throw my hat in the ring could I request someone watch the Godfather Epic, all 7 hours? :yup:

Ooo, Das Boot is one of the best war movies Ive ever seen. It was long, I think I saw the theatrical (years ago renting it at Blockbuster)
Hm, now theres a thread idea - TONGO go make.

No :) If they like the first one theyll seek out the others anyway. If they dont like the first one, then as Conan Schwarzanegger would say "Da hell wid dem!" ;)

I'm attempting to acquire Payback right now, I haven't watched it but what I seen looks impressive.
Yeah its rough.
Definitely ahead of its time though. John Cassavetes reminds me of Robert Altman with his style here. My names gonna be in black for awhile, right now feel like Im subjecting myself more than watching it.

Let's see then. Who to pick? Tugg, you haven't had a go in a while. You still interested?
So it's been almost 24 hours, I pm:d Tugg and saw him/her online earlier, so it's good odds that the message went through. Shall we give it another 12 hours and then I pick someone else?
Go ahead and pick someone else, Tugg may be involved with something, and will get in soon anyway.

you don't have to finish it if it's hard for you. it's one of the most intense films i've ever seen and it never lets up, so the fact that it's left such an impact on you is good enough for me.

Brazil (1985) 3.5 (with possibility of going higher)
https://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/en/e/e9/Brazil_(1985_film)_poster.jpg
Care for a little necrophilia? Hmmm?
Well...this was a star-studded movie. You've got the High Sparrow, Al Capone, Pontius Pilate, Bilbo Baggins, Mario Mario, Aemon Targaryan and Professor Slugghorn all in one movie. That couldn't have been easy. But what a movie it was.
In a retro-futuristic world where bureaucracy's paramount (and inefficiency therefore runs rampant), a lowly bureaucrat (Pryce) with dreams of freedom, trying to set right a wrong, gets accused of being a terrorist. Along with the girl of his dreams he must now set out to rescue her from arrest and for them to flee the city.
I didn't really know what to expect from this movie. I knew Terry Gilliam directed and his history with the Monty Python crew, but I knew prescious little about the actual movie. I thought it was Di Nero who would be flying around in the winged armor, a wierd superhero that would inspire Pryce's character to join in the rebellion to overthrow the paper-pushing, totalitarian regime. What I got was a rouge heat technician/commando. I don't know which I would've preffered to be honest.
This whole movie gave me a confused feel. They juxtapose these grand, pillared exteriors and entrance halls with tiny, cramped areas for whenever the characters are inside and moving about. The people are allways pressing up against walls so other people can pass by, they cram themselves into small elevators and tiny offices. If the goal is to make Pryce and us feel small and insignificant, they succeed. But at the same time the characters themselves bring levity to the proceedings through dry wit and (it seems) unintended hilarity through absurd behaviour. The protagonists' mother's rivaling attempts with her friend as to which method of plastic surgery's most effective or his friends apparent total compartmentalisation between his work as a inquisitor and his interaction with his daughter. All this works towards creating a surreal world where a woman wears a shoe for a hat and everything feels strange. It's as if you've fallen through the white rabbit's tunnel, but instead of emerging in wonderland proper, you find yourself in a wonderland where someone's tried to impose order, but the world itself is resisting and the madness is starting to seep back in through the cracks. I also feel like this movie was shot in black and white while still knowing for a fact that I saw bright splashes of color here and there.
The movie was interesting, but I don't know that I loved it. It will absolutly require several more viewings for me to get the whole story and see all the little details I'm sure that I missed. But above all, I need to see this a few more times to decide if I like it or not. I just can't say. For now, it gets a 3.5 with the possibility of going up after second and third viewings.

We really should rename this thread Pick A Movie For Me!. It would cut thru the confusion, and probably get more volume of people in here. I know there are people avoiding this cause I originally put the words "chain" and "challenge" in the title, and imo is hinking up the process. What do you think Omni? :)

It's hardly what I'd call complex.
You can pick anyone who hasn't already been picked and still has a movie to watch. If they get picked, then they do the same.
Yeah, it's not complex. The green just means that person has already watched a movie for it and can be picked again, but you can pick someone not on the list. You probably have a better chance getting someone in green to pick one for you since they are already taking part but it isn't a must.

After Hours (1985)
For a film that's described as being a comedy, I didn't find much about it to be particularly funny. I'm usually a huge fan of black comedy, so I imagine it's just the subject matter that didn't really appeal to me. That said, when events really start to connect and Paul's situation starts to spiral out of control, it did become infinitely more entertaining.
After Hours is definitely a very strange film, and it's certainly quite stylish. The cinematography does make up for the portions of the plot I was completely uninvested in, and I rather liked the odd, abrupt ending, even if it did initially seem tonally out of place. I imagine this is the kind of movie that I'd appreciate more on subsequent viewings, and I'll definitely keep it in mind for the next time I'm in the mood to watch this kind of movie.

Used Cars (1980)

http://dazedimg.dazedgroup.netdna-cdn.com/786/azure/dazed-prod/1060/9/1069766.gif
I saw this over 30 years ago, but the only thing I could remember was the girls dancing on the cars. I didn't think the movie was great, but I enjoyed it and it was an excellent choice for me.
The story is basic; two brothers (both play by Jack Ward) compete for business at their used car lots which are right across the road from one another. Kurt Russell, as a slimy salesman, is the main star. The simple story is fine for a comedy, as it's basically just an excuse to find a setting for some laughs. The movie ends up being quite funny. The swearing is very effective in this movie. Many movies today try to get creative with foul language, while this movie relied on simple F bombs. It was a refreshing change of pace. My only complaint is that I think the story became too much of a focal point. With a stronger focus on babes and booze, I think this could have been an absolute classic in the same vein as Caddyshack or Vacation.

Yeah, it's not complex.
You're right, currently it's a really simple and easy way to reach a stalemate, impasse, deadlock, etc. within the thread.

Somebodys gotta throw Next Scorcese a post comment or PM. Sorry I havent been in here, been writing that story. TONGO brain pudding

Well if you are still talking about this then i can tell you i've been following both of these threads from the start and Next Scorcese is the only one who has taken any notable amount of time to get someone to pick for him. Citizen went out hiking and couldn't pick for a day but other than those this has been going at a fairly steady pace throughout.

I'm thinking that 3 days of attempts to get Tugg, put him in the red or unavailable category for the moment. We should have a list of those in green standing by and those who may not wish to stay in the chain. Just an opinion from a thread follower. I joined with the intention to participate. I didn't expect the thread to be mainly a search for volunteers and a discussion about participation. There should be a pool of ready, active and alert participants that a person can choose from.
Camo, are you ready to pick for someone and then watch another film that is picked for you?
Any suggestions, ideas, new members, and we all can make this a staple 👍
I'm thinking that 3 days of attempts to get Tugg, put him in the red or unavailable category for the moment.
I'd agree, three days is enough. I saw him on earlier so no idea why he or Next Scorcese hasn't asked anyone.
I didn't expect the thread to be mainly a search for volunteers and a discussion about participation.
It's not though. You've basically joined the thread at the one point were it stalls. It's not been open for that long and a fair amount of films have been watched. I've went twice, and i think some may have went three times even. At least 15 people have participated. NextScorcese+Tugg has been the one problem since TONGO opened the thread over 3 weeks ago. I think there should be a certain amount of time set for whoever is asked to respond maybe but i don't think some other suggestions are necessary and i think they restrict what should be a casual, fun thing.
. There should be a pool of ready, active and alert participants that a person can choose from.
There's always going to be certain members you know will most likely respond fairly quickly and will take part like me, Cricket, TONGO, Cosmic, Citizen, etc. And if someone wants to choose us then they are free to but they should be free to ask someone not yet participating in the thread if they're interested if they want to as well. Like i asked Cobpyth, he couldn't because he is in Vietnam but he's said he wants to take part when he comes back. There will be others that either haven't seen this thread or just haven't opened it.
Camo, are you ready to pick for someone and then watch another film that is picked for you?
Sure.

Plenty, to have a small pool of eager beavers on standby.

Yeah, but this was already stated, hence, access to a list of those that are ready and waiting...
Is there anyone that hasn't been picked in a while and wants to be picked?
Sure.
That makes two of us.
Yup, I was ready, excited and.... ???
Go get ahold of Next Scorcese or Tugg then if you are that bothered, they have been the one snag in this thread. And you got a movie the first time you entered the thread and have waited what 2 days for another one? Others have waited a lot longer including myself who had to wait about a week to be picked the first time then another week to be picked again. So i'm not sure why you even think you should've had a second by now.
Yeah, but this was already stated, hence, access to a list of those that are ready and waiting...
If someone wants to make one then they can go ahead just as long as its made clear that you don't have to pick from it because i think constantly circling the same group of people will quickly get boring. I know who i'm picking my next go if they are interested and its not someone who has participated already.
Thanks for fielding that Camo.
What do you guys think, 24 hour wait period, and then choose someone different?

Next Scorsese has not been a snag, he just doesn't know who to pick from. I'm trying to shed light on that. If there was a list, he wouldn't have to ask. We, the participants, should have an option to go to, when our first choice declines or ignores us.
Tugg probably wants to opt out (guessing).
I don't care when I get my next chance, but, if I am to follow this thread, I'd like to chat about movie choices, who picked what, learn about a few gems, etc. At the moment, all I'm getting are notifications to a thread in a state of stalemate and confusion. I was just attempting to remedy that with an idea.

Stalling wouldn't be a problem if:
When the last person on the list is having a hard time finding someone who will join by suggesting a movie....the person on the list could be skipped...and the next person who was interested in participating would be listed. When the skipped person finds a volunteer to give them a movie, then that information could be filled out. The way it is now it makes some people stressed and so some won't join at all.

Sort of like when they suspend your transaction at a store cash register for a price check? Where would we get that next person from? I still think that the best way to promote this thread is to have a good time among the few eager and willing forum participants. Having repetitive fun with a few is better than no fun at all, while someone is desperately searching to add a new willing participant. There is no hiding it, this is mainly a thread for fairly active forum members. Having a current list of active participants that won't ignore you, is the key to greater thread success. All the rules and ideas in this thread are simple on their own, but, together they are an intricate mess, especially to a new participant. From jumping the line to not being sure who you can pick, these are some things worth addressing with new ideas. Just my opinion.

Guys :)
You find someone to pick you a movie
and then they find someone to pick them a movie
Thats it. Even if the OP looks like the math question from Good Will Hunting, the process is ridiculously simple. Please chill, Id rather get some hiccups and stalls if we can spread this throughout the board. Want to do it easier, then pick a name thats not in black. ;)

I think most people would be able to tell by looking at the chain who the more active members are. If someone's name is in green 4 or 5 times while there are plenty of greys in between, then they're probably a safe bet if you want a quick response or turn-around time. But if someone wants to keep track of the more active participants by making their own list and reposting it every page or two, I don't think Omni would have a problem with that.

Following that logic, disregarding the structured format, this thread becomes indistinguishable from any other recommendation thread.

I wouldn't, but my most immediate plan is for completed links at the top of the chain to separate into a pool of who's seen what.
For example:
TONGO: A, B, and C.
MonnoM: D.
CosmicRunaway: E, F, G, H, and I.
The use there is that you can see how many links each member has contributed. It also reduces the vertical length of the OP.

How about instead of green, or keeping people listed that have watched a movie, we put a number like TONGO (3) signifying how many movies Ive watched already, so if anyones looking for someone to pick, they wont pick me because my name will only show like this...... TONGO (3) ► Bigger than Life (1956), in black.
Say I finish Bigger Than Life, then we can have a Quick Pick list of people that are available, IF they dont want to find someone new. Id be listed there with some other regulars that have finished their movie, and then Id be TONGO (4)
Eh?

TONGO (3) ► Bigger than Life (1956), in black. I'm not knocking your idea, but that means nothing to the casual observer. Not everyone views information as patterns or math equations. If I hadn't read your post, I'd be saying WTF does 3 mean. Guys forget the shorthand coding. The list is good enough as it is. If you really must add more information, make it clearly written out like this so it's self explanatory:
TONGO ( has watched 3 previous movies) ►Next movie he'll watch is Bigger than Life (1956) (suggested by Frightened Inmate No. 2)

Would it be easier if we only kept the full chain in Omni's first post, and only reposted the incomplete parts of the chain? People jumping into the thread could check the first post to see which members have completed links, and they'd know not to pick anyone from the current list, which would look like:

Daniel M ► Closet Land (1991)

I've actually been thinking of doing that since last week. Mainly just reluctant to essentially break what is otherwise a contiguous chain.

I know, and I was in love with the whole "Chain Visual" too which wouldve grown as this kept going. Theres so much friction though, still, and figure so it does keep going, we just Keep It Simple & Sweet.

The full chain is eventually going to get too long to keep reposting anyway. We'd still have the unbroken, visually pleasing version with links to reviews in the first post, so it's not like it would be gone or anything. It's easier to tell who you can't pick with the shortened version, so I think that would help sort out some of the confusion. Either that or removing the green from someone's previous completed link if they have a new movie to watch, to prevent someone new from just seeing a green name and thinking they can pick that person without reading the rest of the chain.

Mad Mel is back at again and going ballistic in 1999's ode to film noir - Payback. Mel's more crazed than cool and like many of his other roles channels and inner hostility and vents it on those around him.
I watched the original theatrical cut which I thought was well done. I've heard people praise the Director's cut because it removes the voice over narrative, but V.O's don't scare me at all. Some taunt the blue toned original film as being, too blue, hence the Directors Cut removed the bluish cast. Big mistake, half of the films greatness is in it's look, and in the original release there's lots of cool toned blue's and greens all surrounded in shadows....brilliantly done as it effectively gives the feeling of a classic black & white noir while still shooting in color.
At 1hour 40 minutes, this movie is fast paced, but not ADD inducing fast. We get just enough of Maxs...errr I mean Porter's backstory to know where he's coming from. Actually all you need to know is in the title, he's pissed, crazy and wants payback. But only $70,000 worth of payback, he doesn't want the full $130,000. The money bit induces a bit of ironic comedy into a tense action film. This film delivers!

The 25th Hour (2002)
The perfect way for me to sum up this film is like this, it's like overhearing a conversation in a bar, you hear what they're saying, they seem into it, but your just not interested. I feel like Spike Lee wanted to make his own version of Pulp Fiction, a dialogue driven film with a cast of colorful characters, but these characters and dialogue just aren't anywhere near interesting enough to carry a 2 hour film. There are multiple times throughout the film where I think that Spike Lee fell asleep and the actors just started to improvise because they ran out of dialogue.
Something else, people should watch this film to learn to appreciate tone, the same way people should taste Diet Coke to appreciate regular Coke. This film can not decide it's tone if death was on the line, at times it tries to be quirky, at others gritty, and sometimes inspiring. And there is also some really tacked on 9/11 imagery, I completely understand why due to the fact this film was released just a few months after the tragedy, but it is so just out of no where and depressing.
But, however clunky this film is, there is one moment of pure, disturbing brilliance. There is a scene where Edward Norton's character is talking to himself in the mirror, and he goes full Tyler Durden. He literally says f*ck everyone, he makes fun of every race on the face of the planet, and each insult is just as disturbing as the last, he even insults Jesus, as wrong as it is, it is still just so well done. The editing is also pitch perfect, you see everything you need to see for just the right amount of time for it to sink in. Long story short, it's one of the ballsiest scenes in cinema.
So not a fan of this movie, it's just not that interesting or entertaining, the tone is all over the place, but even then, I might still slightly recommend it for that one disturbingly brilliant scene.

You hit the jackpot, I have not seen Eraserhead... Lynch is interesting to say the least and simply the reputation and torn opinions on this movie have me curious. It's a movie i better prepare myself for that's for sure. I have no idea how I'll respond to it though.

Excellent film! With friends like that, who needs enemies? Any of the quotes out there that mention a lie told enough times becoming truth, can easily apply here. Perception is everything. There is really no villain in this movie (except for the unknown individual that took it out on the dog), the rest is just human nature. Watching this, you can definitely gain a bit of an understanding and garner a bit of respect for the misanthropes among us. We are an impulsive species.:yup:
Excellent choice by MM, picking a movie that was already in my list on Netflix.

Who can I pick? No colour coding this time. This thread is like reading a thousand page book that changes language halfway through.

Hey Cosmic, mind changing my movie? I'm having Yes, Madam problems.

Yeah, I wasn't sure how hard that movie would be to find. I have an old copy on VHS that came from a rental shop that closed down almost a decade ago.
I thought Gen-X Cops would be right up your alley, so it's a shame you can't find it. I'll take a look at your review thread again and try to think of something else.

The few movies I had in mind, you've already seen, so I'm going to suggest something that's not exactly relevant to what I know your interests are.
Are your lists up to date? It says you haven't seen The Great Dictator (1940), so that'll be my recommendation. You've been watching a lot of action movies for the countdown, so I think it'll be a nice change of pace.
I pick Clazor.
If your lists are up to date you haven't seen The Iron Giant (1999). Get to it! :)

Cool, who is picking a film for you Clazor?
