"Last March, we reported that Teen Wolf showrunner Jeff Davis and Teen Wolf actor/writer Brandon Boyce were working on a TV adaptation of Swedish author John Ajvide Lindqvist’s Let The Right One In, a novelpreviously made into a hit Swedish horror movie of the same name and a competent-yet-unecessary American remake called Let Me In. According to Deadline, TNT has given that project a pilot order, with Aquarius’ Marty Adelstein and Becky Clements executive producing alongside Let Me In producer (and Hammer Films CEO) Simon Oakes.

The original Let The Right One In story is about a bullied little boy who befriends a mysterious girl who recently moved in next door to him. Around the time his bullies get brutally murdered, the boy realizes his new friend is actually a vampire who only looks like a little girl. This version will move the action from the snowy streets of Sweden to the maple syrup-filled halls of Vermont, and though the Deadline story doesn’t specifically mention this, our report in 2015 suggested that it would also add a “federal marshal with a mysterious past of his own.” "

Jesus. They've already remade it. Leave it be.

Well as usual hope it works out but i doubt it will.

They'll cut out anything remotely controversial like they did with Let Me In leaving it a mess, just like Let Me In
