I was wondering if any of you played the guitar and, if you do, if you could recommend a training course, that I could study while on-the-road, that would (should) allow me to teach myself to play.

As an OTR commercial (truck) driver, I spend the majority of my time on-the-road and, due to DOT 'hours' requirements regularly have 10-hour 'sleep breaks' during which I have free-time, but not regular internet access or access necessary for an on-line course.

I currently lack the skills or training to play any musical instrument but would like to learn, starting with the guitar...

Therefore, I'd need a course that was either downloadable or available in book form.

My musical interests are somewhat varied, and I'd like to learn to play some of my favorite pieces including;

Modern Country;

'What was I think'in' (Dierks Bentley)

'Gonna know we were here' (Jason Aldean)

'We went' (Randy Houser)

Metal;

'Crazy Train' (Ozzy)

'Do the Evolution' (Pearl Jam)

Rock;

'Don't stop me now' (Queen)

'Have a nice day' (Bon Jovi)

Thank you in advance...
