Forgive me if a thread about this already exists, did a search and turned up nothing. But if a thread about this indeed is already up feel free to merge.

Any fans of this? As a kid it used to terrify me largely because of the Crypt Keeper but now I love it and it's my favorite television show ever. It sadly took a stumble during it's last two seasons, but Seasons 1-5 are absolutely sublime. The show early on did a wonderful job of replicating the feel of the classic 1950s-era EC Horror comics that it's based on and the stories did an expert job blending Horror with some good humor. I have numerous favorite episodes from throughout it's run. I even enjoyed the short-lived animated spin-off that was aimed at kids.

I'm weary about the upcoming reboot, it could either be good or a total misfire.

Great show. I don't know what to think of the reboot anymore because they keep changing details. One minute they're getting rid of the Crypt Keeper and the next he's in. On top of that it's on TNT, which could in itself hinder the show. But I'll hold off until I at least see a promo.

Just bought the first two seasons, and must say I love the show. Used to watch it on Chiller. It's funny, I was going to start a thread like this one. I was watching one episode, where Joey Pants gets the nine lives of the cat, and he makes money by being killed.

Well, this little old lady was going to throw the switch to electrocute him, and the helper says, "Are you ready?" She then says, "You bet your ass I'm ready!" They used to play this on Chiller to promote the show. I cracked up. It was pretty funny.

I hear that they're not going to get the original voice of the Cryptkeeper back. They should put the Witch, and the vault keeper (I think that's his name) on. Create an ensemble! Why not?

M. Night is going to be involved in the upcoming reboot I hear, and that I'm really excited about. After his seeing his newest film, The Visit, I want to think that he'll do a good job with this. But then again, who knows?

The new show won't be the same without the Crypt Keeper, he did so much to make the show unique.

Man those take me back. I remember how terrified I was of the Crypt Keeper and sometimes never wanted to watch anything on HBO for fear he'd suddenly pop up.
