You know Django, after you took it upon your self to ruin this post, i took it upon my self to delve into your MOFO past and its certainly not a pretty one.
in fact its quite sad.

I should imagine youve heard this before, and i should imagine it wont change you, but i have to say it in defense of my self.

You seem to pick on people for no reason and destroy their posts with your ridiculous and prejudiced opinions that not even an opinionated person, with a mature mind would voice. WHAT IS THE POINT? I mean why did you post in this thread if YOU HAVE NEVER READ HARRY POTTER and DONT LIKE HARRY POTTER??? Your only reason for posting in this thread is to annoy poeple.

If your opinions were valid and controversial, hell even if they were racist, you argue your point then p!ss off, you dont keep on coming back with them knowing full well what your opinions are and throwing them back in their faces and arguing with people who are beginning to hate you. Thank you Caitlyn, your exactly right. Instead of replying with a solid argument answering my questions, you (Django) just replied having a go at Yoda again and about your gripes with Harry Potter, and then decided to contaminate the thread by posting about 10 crappy satirical cartoons about Harry Potter. I didnt want to see it and no one else cared, so i deleted all the posts as i do not have the authority to just delete your posts. And as you had contaminated the thread from the start its not as if we were losing some good opinions on Harry Potter, just your uninteresting political speeches and Yodas replies back to you (Hope your not offended Yoda).

I also posted some hilarious satirical cartoons to illustrate my opinions regarding Harry Potter. But because you DISAGREE with my OPINION, you deleted your thread, because you had no real refutation to the issues I raised. Here is a sign of maturity on my part: when someone expresses their disagreement to me on the ISSUES, I do not then delete their posts or threads. You are a fine one to lecture me on the level of my maturity when you can't handle disagreement. Disagreement on the ISSUES does not consist of the "contamination" of anything--it is the badge of a free society that gives us the right to disagree. By deleting your thread on Harry Potter in an attempt to silence me, you only prove that you cannot handle disagreement, consequently you exercise totalitarian censorship.

All I did was cite a certain vein of criticism against Harry Potter and the author--a vein of criticism initiated by your friends at the 700 club, incidentally--i.e. the right wing religious fanatics like Pat Robertson and Jerry Falwell with whom you, apparently, identify in terms of your political leanings. Also, I did not make any accusations against anyone--I only facetiously expressed my suspicions concerning the authorship of Harry Potter and cited several very reputable articles to support my claims, from such sources as bbc.co.uk. It is also an established fact that Harry Potter has induced impressionable children to develop an unhealthy interest in the occult. None of this is paranoid in any way.

Well, it happens that the satirical/political cartoon is a well-respected and extremely mature tradition in the news media. Hardly immature. Also, the cartoons made very pointed comments about the Harry Potter phenomenon--I'm sure you would appreciate them, assuming that you have the maturity to understand them!

Who's patronizing anyone? I stated for a fact that when I encounter pretentiousness and arrogance in the forum, I want to know where it comes from, so that I can respond to it appropriately. Fact is, I have encountered more than my share of pretentiousness and arrogance in here, and, for awhile, I was wondering where it all came from. Then I discovered that most of the people displaying pretentiousness and arrogance towards me were around 18-20 years of age, so that's when I realized, "That explains it--they're at that age." No patronage given to anyone--just an understanding of where all that hostility and arrogance comes from! :D I went through that phase myself, you know, at that age!
