Has anyone else seen this weird Drama Comedy with Will Farrell? It struck me as a weird as hell movie that was pretty forgettable at first. Having re-watched it a few times i am under the impression this movie is completely misunderstood. I have a bit of a tin foil hat theory on whats going on in this thing. Check out my video where i break down what I'm thinking about Stranger than fiction.

What do you think? Does my theory have some merit or have i been overthinking things again?

It's so funny I found this. I just revisited it recently...don't think I watched it since it came out. I was like 18 or 19 when it came out...I remember not being impressed by it. I think I actually owned it and gave it away. Watched it with my mid 30s perspective now. Holy crap is it really F*cking good now. Got emotional at the end, might cut a little too close to the bone
I was probably young dumb and naive when I first saw it in 06 or 07. Probably expected one of Ferrell's outlandish comedies as his prime comedies were right in the sweet spot for me age wise. (Old School is still my favorite comedy). Crazy what years and a different perspective can do for a movie to someone. It might be the biggest 180 I've done on a movie. I remember he did a movie Everything Must Go shortly after that I wasn't terrible impressed with either and he was "serious" in that too. Might have cloudy my judgement to not revisit this flick.
This movie kicks ass.

I loved Stranger than Fiction. I thought Ferrell and Emma Thompson were brilliant.
