Thanks guys! I love all the cakes and cookies with my "names" on them, the beautiful flowers, and of course Jack! That's sweet!

As far as my birthday goes, unfortunately I had one hell of a bad week. I was sickly, with horrific pain. Then my freaking central air unit crapped out on me. I'm doing a lot better now, and soon enough, I'll get that stupid thing fixed. Thank God I still have the wall unit. It's a bit hot down South. The bedrooms stay so freakin' stuffy, too.

Anyways, I did get a lot of treats, like meals made for me (I was kind of too sick to eat much, but it was still real sweet.), and my daughter made me a birthday cake. I also got to replace my Zune that crapped out on me a couple months ago.

So, thanks again. I really appreciate it. :)

Thanks a lot, dear. I'm doing a lot better. Tons better . . . Knock on wood . . . I hope you all have been doing great, as well. On my good days, I've been landscaping and redoing my home. Interior design and landscaping are two of my many favorite hobbies. I have a lot of fun doing both. I've been squeezing in my exercise, but of course. I just do a bunch of work, and then I jump in the pool, or get on a machine. Stuff like that.

I'm very pleased with myself right now. My neighbor had promised to cut back these two huge pear trees that have grown into the power lines that lead to my house. Well, while I was away, taking care of my family member, he broke up with my friend/neighbor, and moved out. I can't get a hold of him, so I got mad, climbed on a ladder, and topped that one tree off. It is very small now. That was a lot of work, and I got it done. Yippee me!

The other tree is a loooot larger, though. I've cut a few limbs off, and I plan on getting some more, but I'm not very sure that I can finish it. I seriously doubt it. Anyways, he was also going to get the two enormous trees at the street, that have grown into those power lines. Luckily for me, I found out that the city will cut those down, so I told them to cut them all the way back to around 6 feet tall. That one man is very nice. This past winter I topped off all the smaller trees on my property, and cut back these two enormous bushes. I had a ton of limbs and branches, and no where to take them. He said that if I'd put it all at the street, he'd sneak by, and get it all for me. I'm going to be pitiful today, and see if I can get some help with this other pear tree. Shame on me. ;)

Well, now that you're all bored to death from this post, I'm going to get to work, before I fall asleep. I never went to bed last night. I'll try not to fall asleep on the ladder. :p
