As for me....

I graduated a few weeks ago. I was lazy in high school so I'll be going to a community college for a year, then to a 4 year college. Summer doesn't feel like summer since apparently Virginia....or I guess it is the USA's, weather is now made out of rain. I work at Crosby's Crab Co. I cook crabs and various other seafood. And I'm in love. Her name is Christine. :)

I came to this site a little around a month after its opening. I was a long time poster, then around a year or so I went pretty inactive - mainly due to school.

But now I don't have much to do, so I'll start browsing back around.

I just think its kinda funny that after being away for so long, I still have an average of 2.23 posts a day and are still in the top 10 posters. Plus I started the longest thread ever on MoFo. And I won the first ever MoFo contest. I guess I just frecking rock.

I'm glad to hear of your graduation, and most importantly the new love in your life! So, tell us about her...is she a big movie fan? Perhaps she could join the forum.
In my experience, it's always best to attend a community college before a university: not only is it less expensive, but you can get those pesky GE courses out of the way before heading off to the BIG campus. You'll see.

Thanks. She likes movies, we watch alot of em, but she isn't a diehard movie buff. She actually prefers old black and whites - knows as much about those as I do modern day cinema, its kinda weird. I never once watched a full movie on TCM until I met her.

As for the college, yeah I agree. Although it wasn't planned, it is going to work out extremely well. See I was part of this program called the IB program - an internaional program that is above any Advanced Placement class. Anyway, I graduated with that diploma. I was one of 20 that graduated with it (20 out of the initial 200 or so). Colleges will give you credit for the classes you've taken, assuming you get a perfect or slightly less on the exam for it. However, the community college gives credit for much less than a perfect, so looks like I'll be getting credit for pretty much every class I took highschool and junior year. :)
