It just struck me when I scrolled past that photo (and before I read Jude Law's name)... I thought it was Maguire (except he looked strangely much much more handsome and without his bulging bug eyes & oddly pursed lips!) ;)

My favourite place in the world to buy records, it's got over 1,000,000 records, 100,000 CD's and 30,000 Cassettes. It's a local institution and an awesome place to spend a few hours. People have even had wedding photo's done here. I've probably spent a few days worth of time in this store over the course of my life, in fact I was there today.

Everything is catalogued by genre and is in alphabetical order, it's really not that difficult unless you're an impatient child or one of those adults who want it nownowgimmenow. I rather enjoy methodically browsing each shelf for hidden gems and things I never knew existed until that moment, I've found a lot of cool music this way. And frankly I prefer it to ordering stuff online or going into chain stores and browsing a very limited and biased selection, because I don't listen to popular music. So while your assumption is noted, it is unwarranted, if you don't like my record shop then please don't waste your time talking about it, even to raise your own post count.

( -_-) Merely citing an inherent difficulty in browsing sush places.

Any music place honestly, the cases only have cover art to convey what they might be to you and I doubt most are even transparent about what genre they are. Even if a store organizes them, if you've never heard the band before you don't really know what you're getting until you bring it home and listen.

I've been to packed used bookstores and come away with little gems purchased blindly on a whim, and I certainly enjoy them for that. I'm just saying I find the concept of sorting through it all daunting.

That feeling you get when you're that much closer to finishing your assignment.

The feeling you get when you finish it is better though.

He's alright, he gets to write stuff about what he loves! (Films)

I on the other hand have to write about hotels, and everything that goes with it, which is just so dull.

Being a Hospitality student is not as easy as everyone thinks, I can tell you that.

I agree highly to all of those things even though I didn't know there was a bookfest?? :")

That's in Brisbane, Queensland, Australia. Held twice a year Jan and June. Ruins it for bookstores - over 1 million books from as little as $1. Heaven.:D

You too can be crane kicked 50 meters backwards through a stone column by a sentient android butler assassin. It's fun!

I've always wanted to be crane kicked 50 meters backwards through a stone column by a sentient Android butler assassin.

It sounds very X-Men like in my head for some reason....

More often times it's not combat-oriented, but drama-oriented. Flexes your creativity, storytelling, and writing skills.

Yeah I get that, I think it was just a mixture of me being really excited for the new film, and also the mention of sentients.... (I mixed up the words sentient and sentiels in my head ...)
