I know this sounds like a western rube question to ask, but what did you think of Braveheart? I liked it myself, but heard scottish audiences freaked with enthusiasm when it came out.

Loved it when i was a kid, actually i only really loved and watched the battles and the ending at the time. Now i just don't like it much. Not even sure what it is tbh; historical accuracy doesn't bother me and neither does the accents it just rubs me the wrong way now for some reason. Still i will never stop loving this guy -

They should have made a sequel about him, set in modern day Miami or something.

Edit: Also i was only 2 when it came out so i have no idea how people reacted to it here at the time.
