25. YOU WIN AGAIN
(1987, E.S.P.)
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KZY9oYSSjFI (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KZY9oYSSjFI)
This song was written by Barry, with the drums conceived by Maurice. The song is reportedly written about their late pop star young brother Andy Gibb who died earlier in the decade from a drug overdose. The song was considered the Bee Gees comeback hit in the 80's, peaking at number 1 in the UK.

Did you change the #25 song in the first post?
I was hoping nobody would notice.
Yes, I had to. I remembered that I left out Alone, a song I love so the songs got bumped down, and, thus, Specks was bumped completely off the Top 25.
Here it is, though. This is now my Number 26 Bee Gees song:

(1993, Size Isn't Everything)
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=puwr9J0-tKo
This song was written by Barry, Robin, and Maurice. It was sung by Barry and Robin, and was one of the highlight tracks and singles off of their 1993 overlooked album Size Isn't Everything.

22. JIVE TALKIN'
(1975, Main Course)
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XBw25CrUS-o
This song was written by Barry, Robin, and Maurice. It was considered the Bee Gee's comeback single in 1975 after a few years of stale releases, reaching number 1 in the US. The song's groovy and funky beat and rhythm became the band's signature sound and the beginning of their mega successful venture into the disco scene, where they would be considered kings.

21. WIND OF CHANGE
(1975, Main Course)
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QtVQQFN8ZCM
This song was written by Barry and Robin, and was featured on the Bee Gees' comeback 1975 album Main Course, which saw the Bee Gees make their first ever venture into disco music. The song was released as the B-side to the Jive Talkin' single. This was one instance where, in my opinion, the B-side was a superior song to it's A-side counterpart.

20. I'VE GOT TO GET A MESSAGE TO YOU
(1968, Idea)
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FSTvEhp64Lo
This song was written by Barry, Robin, and Maurice, and was sung by Robin and Barry. It was one of the Bee Gees' many earlier hit singles, way before they became the kings of disco. The song is about a man awaiting execution who is pleading with the prison chaplain to get a message across to his wife before he is put to death.

18. NIGHTS ON BROADWAY
(1975, Main Course)
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=geoOlQcJe_4
This song was written by Barry, Robin, and Maurice. The song is notable for being one of the first disco songs by the Bee Gees, and the time the famous Bee Gees falsetto screaming style of singing debuted, particularly by Barry. The falsetto was a result of record producer Arif Mardin asking the Bee Gees to add some screaming to the chorus to make the song more exciting.

Love the Bee Gees! I was fortunate enough to see them on their Main Course tour back in the mid-70's. Great memory.
My favorite Bee Gees songs are To Love Somebody, Lonely Days, 1941 New York Mining Disaster, and there's one of their final songs that I really like, This Is Where I Came In. But I love most off their output.

Nights on Broadway is a good song you don't hear much these days.
I almost nominated this song that The Bee Gees assisted on for the love song tournament, wondering if you know it-

I bought that when it came out, and I can remember playing it on the jukebox at the Driftwood Pub in Chicago. I was 6 lol.

I don't like Tragedy as much as I did when it came out, but it's still a good tune. I listened to it yesterday.
I'd have You Should Be Dancing in my top 5, one of the greatest disco songs.
Saturday Night Fever was film critic Gene Siskel's favorite movie.

(1977, Saturday Night Fever: Original Motion Picture Soundtrack)
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=I_izvAbhExY
This song was written by Barry, Robin, and Maurice, and was sung by Barry. This song is by far the Bee Gee's biggest, most popular, and most overplayed song to date. The song was featured on the soundtrack of the phenomenal soundtrack to the John Travolta 70's classic Saturday Night Fever.

I know some of you MoFo's might be thinking Staying Alive deserves to be higher on the list. The song is great, but the fact that it's been overplayed to death over the last 40 years has actually made it one of the tracks that I skip on a CD.
Again, it's still a great song, hence it's inclusion on my list.

Oy! I was hoping To Love Somebody would at least be in the Top 10, but, oh well. Like I said on The Beatles list, it's sometimes hard to place them when there are so many great songs!
This is the CD I have by them, with most of their greatest songs:
http://scene7.targetimg1.com/is/image/Target/11569516?wid=480&hei=480
As with most greatest hits, there's always a song or two missing and this CD is no exception but it's got almost every song I love. It even has a song from their almost-forgotten album Cucumber Castle, which was an album my sister had and listened to in our small house when I was young, therefore I listened to it also. :) This, BTW, was the only album without Robin Gibb on it, as they had parted ways for a brief time.
Speaking of Emotion, cricket, it's on that CD I've got, except it's by The Bee Gees of course. And their version is almost note-for-note a twin of Samantha Sang's version. In fact, Samantha's version came on the radio once and I thought it was the Bee Gees version until about half the song was over.
Nights on Broadway is another massive favorite of mine.
Fanny Be Tender is one that I only halfway liked when first released, but now I've come to love it like mad.
If I haven't mentioned their disco output much it's because, like you said mojo, a lot of it suffered from overplay on the radio, and in the clubs I used to frequent. But I do love them all. You Should Be Dancing is my favorite from the SNF soundtrack. That one really gets my heart pumping.

11. FANNY (BE TENDER WITH MY LOVE)
(1975, Main Course)
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dB9PfYZZstk
This song was written by Barry, Robin, and Maurice, and was sung in harmony by the entire group. The song started off with the title Be Tender With My Love. The name Fanny was inspired by a housecleaner who was working on the home the brothers were staying at in Miami. The song is considered an R&B classic.

I've been on and off MoFo all day, but even if I had been here, I don't know enough Bee Gees songs to comment about them. I think the only songs of theirs I know are the ones that were in the movies.
But if you had included Andy Gibb in this list, I might have had some comments. I like some of his songs. :)

9. I STARTED A JOKE
(1968, Idea)
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Dq6YmSVAOG8
This song was written by Barry, Robin, and Maurice. It was sung by Robin. The melancholy song was inspired by the sounds of an airplane's engines that Robin was aboard. The song has since been successfully covered by such bands as The Wallflowers and Faith No More.

8. MASSACHUSETTS
(1967, Horizontal)
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Mc5oqjFsT5g
This song was written by Barry, Robin, and Maurice. It was sung by Robin. The song was written as an antithesis to the hippy songs of the time about going to San Francisco, in which the protagonist was in San Francisco but was feeling homesick. The song became a staple during the Bee Gees' live shows.

This song was written by Barry, Robin, and Maurice. When asked to write a song for a disco movie with the working title "Saturday Night", the Bee Gees offered the movie's producer this song and convinced him to change the movie's title to "Saturday Night Fever". The song became a phenomenal hit, peaking at number 1 in the US and the UK, among other countries.

If I were to give my Top 5 songs of theirs, it would be as follows:
1. How Deep Is Your Love
2. More Than a Woman
3. Country Woman
4. Too Much Heaven
5. Night Fever
I can honestly say that I don't think I would even put "Stayin' Alive" in a top 25. It is a good song, and yes, I know all of the lyrics :), but I never liked it enough to have it be a top favorite of theirs.

3. NEW YORK MINING DISASTER 1941
(1967, Bee Gees' 1st)
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ps-Qq7ucMA0
This song was written by Barry and Robin. It was the Bee Gees' first ever single released in the US. The song was written by the brothers while sitting in the dark during a power outage and them imagining they were stuck in a mining shaft. The song plays as a narrative spoken from the point of view of a miner who is stuck underground having a conversation with a fellow miner named Mr. Jones. Upon the release of the single, many people, including radio stations mistook the song as the new Beatles song and began buying it or playing it in heavy rotation.
