Song Tournament Question

I noticed that very few people have joined the EDM Song Tournament. Does this mean that you guys are getting bored with song tournaments in general and you want to take a break for a while, or are you just not interested in that specific song tournament?

It's electronic music so probably not a lot of people are interested in electronic.

It's like music you'd hear at a rave or a club or something.

I was thinking about it. With Valentine's Day coming up, I was thinking about a song tournament with love songs, breakup songs, heartbreak songs, etc.

But only if enough people are interested in it.

Let's see how many people are interested, and if it looks like we have enough people, I'll run that tournament.

You can start thinking of your nominations if you want to, but I won't actually start the thread until I know if enough people are in.

I haven't actually thought of the name yet, just the concept. Probably something like "The Love & Heartaches Song Tournament" because it's more than just love songs. (Some people are lonely on Valentine's Day, so I want those people to be able to choose songs that show how they feel on that day.)

But I'm open to suggestions if you have any.

I'll leave this question open for a few days to see who's interested. If you see any of the song tournament people around, ask them to stop in here and reply so we can see how many people would be interested in joining this type of tournament.

Or if there are any other theme suggestions, I'm open to suggestions.

If enough people are interested, maybe we'll start this after the EDM mini-tournament is over.

It's just that the last few song tournaments have been metal music, extreme music, and now some kind of electronic music. Even the general song tournaments have a lot of loud music in them.

I'm just looking for something a bit different, and less loud, and with Valentine's Day coming up, this sounded like a good idea. But I'm open to suggestions on the theme.

It's not my kind of music, that's why I didn't join. But I still love doing tournaments.

For me, song tournaments have become what survivor has become for the forum.
