Winter Storm Jonas [Archive]

Anyone else hit particularly bad by Jonas? I know we have a handful of MoFos in the Northeast, thought I'd see how everyone's doing, see if there were any crazy pictures, etc.

Not too terrible here in Pittsburgh. It was coming down steadily the entire second half of yesterday, all night, and a couple of hours into the morning, but it stopped dead after that, and it was nice that it happened right before the weekend. Primary streets here are usable, side streets vary a lot more, but everything should be pretty good come Monday.

I hear D.C. got 30 inches. :eek:

The last snow total I heard around here was about 16 inches around 2:30 PM, (about 4 hours ago), and it's still coming down. They're predicting up to 30 inches here by the time it's over late tonight.

The roads were officially closed at 2:30 PM too.

here in north-eastern-ish n.j. (new brunswick area) we've got plenty of snow (as of an hour or two ago when i went out for a little walk i'd guess we had a foot and a half). i'm enjoying it with mrs. palsy.

Not too bad in Boston, just a few inches so far. I don't think we're supposed to get it bad.

My corner of NC would rate fair. I haven't paid attention to the accumulation, but it shut everything down. No power outages that I know of. The roads are covered and will be worse with the wind sweep and re-freeze.

People driving down here drives me crazy though. They don't realize it's not how fast you can go, but how fast you can stop. :mad:

My little adventures went well today, grateful to have a beater truck that lets the babies stay at home. :D

Glad to hear the weather disrupted Arizona's travel schedule.

Where I'm at in MD we got about a foot of snow. I think it's stopped now though, been trapped since 4 pm yesterday.
