This is the place to discuss all things NFL Combine and Draft. The NFL Combine will be held February 23-29. The NFL Draft will be held April 28-30. As usual I will be doing a round by round update. However since the draft will be held on a Thurs, Fri and Saturday I will either do it the following morning like Thursday nights first round posted on Friday morning OR I will do a lump post on Sunday. All rounds results WILL be posted here though by Sunday afternoon, May 1. I will be doing an in depth post of the first three rounds. Rounds four through seven will be posted in bulk posts. So, let us know, who would you like to see your favorite team take? Do you want your team to get rid of anyone? Who is your favorite team, anyway?

The NFL has announced that any player with convictions of domestic abuse or sexually assault will be banned from the combine and any other NFL activity.
Ive never followed college ball and never paid much attention to the draft, Ill look in on this thread and pay attention this year though. Hope the Bucs draft smart. With Lovie already gone and a newbie taking over (Gah! Both the Rays and Bucs have managers the same age as the players!) I feel the seasons gonna be uncomfortably long for us in 2016.

I haven't been able to keep up with this page as well this year as I would like. Work keeps me pretty busy. I am trying though.

The fastest 40 time at the combine was put up by K. Marshall a running back from Georgia at 4.31 seconds. Actually the top 5 times are only separated by a hundredth of a second a piece.

Karl Joseph to the Raiders. Coming off an ACL injury, but I think it's a good pick.

Its hard for me too believe Cardale Jones is so low on the QB list but then again Mel isnt always right about every player he has on his board. More often players he calls losers end up being the NFLs best players.

Hopefully he stays off the weed.

I think him falling and the sheer embarrassment of people talking about it on the news will help. Unless he is Josh Gordon. Then again Micheal Irvin was lit all the time and he was a great player. Not all people on Weed is as obsessed with it as the Gordons or the Manziels

It isn't my usual first round posts and I apologize for that. I had to work last night. I also have to work tonight so rounds 2 and 3 will be posted in similar fashion in the morning. Over all I suppose I am happy with the Jets pick. The kid seems to have some speed and power. And at least he doesn't smoke pot with a gas mask on.... Seriously though, I feel pretty bad for Myles Jack. The kid has worked his whole life and is a first round player but honestly his knee might be a problem. Let me know your thoughts on how your team worked the first round.
NedStark09
04-29-16, 03:35 PM
They need too take the Kid From Notra Dame today. Yes he has some injuries but if gets well before end of the season wouldnts his long term upside be more then fear of the risk. I mean he has no skeletons just an injury. I say give him a look and a try.
NedStark09

Forgive me for the wrong name I was meaning Jaylen Smith or Myles Jack should go cause neither [player had records. Dallas and Jacksonville grabbed them and now maybe Jerry Jones isn t so foolish for he got a very good player a player before injury consider better then Bosa and Ramsey.

The saddest part is nearly 43% of drafted players don't make the team or a roster.I think each player drafted should be allowed least a one year contract to that team.
