Well, it's the New Year. Got your resolutions going on?
What do you have to do to start them, maintain them or fulfill them?
What do you have to do to reach your goals?
Post YOUR To-Do List!
Normally I don't make new years resolutions, on principle. But this year I just coincidentally started with a new calendar to check off every day that I put God first (pray, read the Bible, etc...), exercise, and eat enough (because I have a habit of not eating enough, and I'm too skinny).
Also, I want to keep better track of every single movie I watch. Last year I missed making a note of at least 30 movies.

Whenever I hear about people who don't eat enough or are too skinny or have trouble gaining weight, I just wish there was some way I could give them some of my fat! Or transfer a portion of my appetite to them.
Best of luck!
Well, it's very hard work either way, to gain weight or loose it. You have to really want it, develop good habbits, and work very hard at it.
I've gone on stretches for 3-4 months of eating properly and working out, but I keep going back into laziness. I took Taekwondo for 3 months, and then got lazy and stopped going. So that's another thing I want to get back into.
If you get into a good habbit of working out, you can turn that fat into muscle. :)
My only real new years resolution is to work on saving money. I'd also like to get back to exercising and eating better.

begin writing my first feature length film

more immediately.. i need to buy a long sleeve police shirt since the temperature finally dropped. I'm supposed to be filming this weekend! on the 9th. Must recruit a few more extras too.

Read at least as much as I did this year (about 70 books, not including comics). Some specifics include another volume of Proust and Generatingfuctionology. Other than that I have some general goal subjects but I'll decide on the particular books as I go along.

May I recommend The Birth of Britain by Winston Churchill?

I saw a couple threads on procrastination here recently...
And they reminded me that one of the things on my "to do" list was to bump my "Post Your To-Do List" thread.

Buy a weedeater. Mine broke last year and I have looked and looked and looked and I can not find a suitable replacement. That's the main thing on the To-Do-List

This is dumb... but I was sure I burnt out the motor on my electric one last year (it was smelling, smoking & making weird straining noises), but I started it up a week ago and it was working okay again.

I already did most of my yard prep work. I got a brush cutter one day, power washed the deck, spread 12 yards of mulch, put down 10 yards of topsoil, 2 bags of lime, fertilizer, and overseed. Still have to buy flowers, plant more shrubs (I planted about 200 last year), and put out the rest of the decorations.

What's your secret for energy & motivation?
Great, now posting my list in here is an item on my list.
