JK, I'm not violent
In fact I'm a pacifist
Unless you have a lame Christmas
In which case I'll kick your butt!

So JOY TO THE WORLD!
TO MY DEAR FRIENDS AT MOFO!
MERRY CHRISTMAS!

That was lame, but I hope it made you smile. Christmas time has always been my favorite time of the year. I love the cheerfulness, it lights me up brighter than all the decorations in the world. I hope you guys have a merry Christmas Eve and Christmas. Life can be tough, I have found this out the past few years, but I am very happy that I can come on here and find comfort knowing some of you have my back. I hope I can always return that gesture to you guys.

Nope I have surgery on December 30th, so I will be recovering from that. My year end suxs!

Thanks GBG, at least the day after the surgery is my normal day off... I was first on the list for New Year's Day off so my boss pushed that thru and then January 2nd is a Saturday which is my normal day off as well... at least I get to rest for 3 days before returning to work.

That's good at least. Hubby just found out that he has to work on New Years Day, so we'll have to cut our New Years Eve night short.

It was the night before Christmas and all thru the site,
not a creature was posting not even a mite.
All the "Rate the Last Film You Saw" were posted,
and not a wakeful eye in sight.
In hopes that Swanta would soon be appeared!
All Mofos in Europe were nested, all snug in their beds,
while visions of art house films danced in their heads.
Me sitting here, writing this prose and
Yoda out there, keeping spammers off site,
both knowing its getting late and time to turn off the lights.
When out on the forum, there was such a clatter,
I brought up another page to see what was the matter!
Looked through each forum posting, and through each thread.
The light in my room giving off such a ray,
and gave luster to each page!
But what to amaze my eyes did appear,
a user on a the forum and posting on each page.
Someone so lively, so heartfelt and full of holiday cheer!
I knew in a moment it must be Swanta!
He was posting many films and great ones at that,
calling out to each director so bright and so clear!!
"Leigh", "Von Trier", "Tarr and Glazer",
"Herzog", "Bergman", " Kieślowski and Antonioni" woohoo!
Then posting in "The MoFo Chill Club","Step Right In! Witness A Swan Discuss Cinema"
and then "What are you currently listening to?"


(well I gave it a good try!!)
