They'd just released their first single and were touring secondary schools to promote it. Mrs T's school was first on the list (she was the one organising the visit) and I happened to be there, chatting in the staff room when they arrived.

I got talking to them and their PA and once they realised that I was a supply teacher who knew most of the local schools (with tenuous links to the music business) they asked me if I would take them to their next appointment. I hung around with them (handy for the school as I was a teacher cleared to be on the premises but not actually working) at Mrs T's school in the morning then took them to the other school in the afternoon.

I didn't have any work on that day so figured it'd be a giggle. Can't remember how much I got paid but I do remember the massive signed poster they gave me. ;)
