Obviously having depth is good, and stuff, but it's way more stressful, because the decisions are highly random and it gives you lots of opportunities for regret.

Seriously, though. Typical first-game rust on both teams, but it was a fun game. I stayed up and watched the entire thing.

Storyline's pretty easy: Steelers secondary is bad, Steeler offense drove all night but didn't finish drives, and missed two FGs. Boom, there's your difference.

Agreed. Pats clearly have issues with their defense, as well. Butler did a pretty decent job against the ridiculously good A Brown, but still gave one up at the end there. Still, they need to do some work or they will be relying solely on their offense to win games, which doesn't always work.

I finally have some games starting up for my team. Everyone plays in the later games for me this week.

First game watching the Bills in a looooong time where I didn't get frustrated at all. The defense is very good. The offense is unimaginative and we had four personal fouls. Rex has arrived in Buffalo. That sounds just like the Jets of the last few years to me. At this point a simple playoff birth would be very welcome though.
