I live in the area where it all happened - a man was killed at a gas station not far from my house. It was ridiculous - everybody was looking for a white box truck when the killers were really driving around in a blue Chevy Caprice. But it was also terrifying seeing a white box truck go by on the road. We had painters at our house at the time, and they were in a white van, and they wrote "It's not me!!" on the back of their van. The killers are John Allen Muhammad, 42, and Lee Boyd Malvo, 17. They have not been sentenced anything yet. See picture.

By my brother's girlfriend's house at the time, there was a parking lot FILLED with white vans. Maybe 20. We called it the Sniper Training Center.
