Obviously you won't be outside when you post in here (probably), but the motive of the outdoor thread is to come up with activities that will inspire MoFos to go outside

It's good to watch the movies
It's good to make movie list countdowns
It's good to participate in the song tournaments and all the other great MoFo things
And sometimes it's good to go outside and get some sunlight, so that we aren't all ghosts

i bought these goofy things a couple weeks ago for 35 bucks at the sporting goods store

been breaking those in. Don't think i've tried something like that since i was like 12, may be more challenging than it sounds, one wrong move and i might end up on my face or on my butt. so that's been fun

Yes, but it hasn't stopped me from flying when I have to go somewhere. I've made it a rule to try to fall asleep before the plane takes off, and not wake up until we land.

Unfortunately it's not as easy to sleep on an airplane as you'd think. Fortunately it's easier now because some planes have TVs, and I can use my laptop to watch movies and play games, so I can find things to keep me busy while we're in the air.

This is a wonderful idea. I was just wondering the other day, while I was outside doing one of my many favorite hobbies, "Is there a thread on MoFo for the other things we people do in their lives. The getting out and doing them hobbies. Thank you very much!

I was out gardening on that day. I have many flower gardens. I also grow a lot of my own food. Then of course, there's my pond. There is a stream that goes up the hill, and around the garage a bit, but I'll have to snap some of those later. For now I am posting repeats.

First, here is the only photo I can find right now of my flowers. I have several, so I'll load more later. I started posting this 3 minutes after your thread went up, and this is how long it has taken me to find these.

My dog "makes me" go out several times a day... For walks and just being in the garden or whatever. And I just took a run today in the nice and warm weather, so yeah... I would say I'm pretty actively outdoors. Oh, and I wrote my danish review of the new Avengers film outside as well.

Rollerskates though? I suck at those. :D

I haven't rollerskated in over 20 years. The only rink around here closed down, along with any other social activities.. Hell, our theaters, rental stores, book stores, etc., have already closed - because we need more pharmacies and wal-marts :(

Speaking of the outdoors, we had snow today! Low of 30 degrees. Horrible.

My outdoor hobby is mountain bike riding, keeps me fit and healthy and i get lots of fresh air out in the country. I've learnt how to do my own bike repairs incase the worst happens. It's great fun with a decent bike😁. I rock climb occasionally and dry-ski too.

This is Britain, when it's sunny we make the most of it! so when in and it's sunny I'm always out in the garden either gardening or sitting out relaxing.

Gardening - although I don't cut the grass, someone comes in to do that. I'm currently trying to make the bottom of my garden into a wild flower meadow area for butterflies and bees. Make places for your nature friends!

I also love going to lakes, reservoirs, nice canal routes, large gardens and parks, vast rolling fields/hills, forests(love forests!), old towns with old looking shops like Haworth with cobbled streets and so on. Plenty of gorgeous things like that here in Yorkshire.

I truly despise daylight hours (and spring & summer). My outside time usually occurs after sunset. Night time walks on the streets or in the woods. Like Van Gogh said, everything comes alive at night.
