I've traveled back in time to Elizabethan England and have abducted a child to bring back with me. I hope to save him from this chaos. It is a very strange place here, with lots of cleavage, codpieces and drunken idiots with blades. And the place smells of garlic and roasting turkey legs.

Okay, really I've traveled back to the Renaissance Faire in Hollister, California from about two years ago. That's my "nephew," Noah. Funnily enough, though, there were a couple of people there dressed as Bill and Ted.

As I lay down to sleep, I dream of my home long ago
I see the green grass blowing by the cool wind along the hillsides
and the mountains in the distance with the icy peaks
I smell the bountiful scent of heather and see its wondrous color
and in the distance I hear the familiar sounds of the bagpipes playing their old tune

As I walk to the village of old, I see the young children playing in their colorful kilted skirts
The women busy doing their chores and the men talking of future plans
On the hillside, the young men are tending the sheep as
young maidens watch in joy of who will be their future husbands

How I wish I could be there as I had in the past but all this is a vision and once will be no more
now when I wake, I see the big city that now takes the place of the village
that was once called home.
How I wish I could be there as it was before when the rushing pace of today
does not take place and there was joy all around instead of despair.

I decided to head off into the future. Since this is a movie forum, I didn't want to go off to some near-future that we have seen dozens of times in film. That would just play like some bad sequel. Instead, I decided to use the time gate that is stationed on the asteroid, Cruthnie, which follows the Earth around in a sort of weird sub-orbit. This is a real asteroid that actually exists! Yep - there is a time gate on it, so off I go!

I've just landed on Cruthnie, and it's pretty lame, guys. Only going to post one pic, because...well...see for yourself:

Adjusting....transmit.......receiving me? I have created a frequency booster to keep my signal strength up. Trying to get a reading on the date....Cruthnie has changed drastically. The surface is almost totally smooth, as if it has been worn down over eons of time. Not sure how far I have traveled but i should have a reading in a few seconds...

This can't be right. According to my instruments, I have traveled...10 to the 54th power years into the future. So that would be....carry the one....
