I've just received my new tv. It's a 55" Smart Samsung 3D, so if anyone can help me out here if be happy :). I've just set all my tv up and followed all the instructions and all looks set up correctly apart from my picture. Some channels look rather blurry, the hd channels are ok but normal channels look abit rubbish.

3D?
Then you've probably got the 3D setting activated.

There'll be a stark difference between HD and SD viewing when you're seeing them side to side like that. There's probably nothing wrong with your TV but check out different screen modes to see if it makes a difference.
I've always spend an hour or two calibrating a new TV to my liking and usually it all ends up the same - I turn off everything that says 'Dynamic' in the options. Dynamic Contrast, Whiter White etc etc just add effects to the native image. Edge enhancing can look awful too if it's too high.
If your TV has a Game Mode, try it out - That usually kills all the post process effects with one button (because they can cause input lag when gaming) and you don't need to be gaming to use it. Same with Cinema Mode on my TV but it might be different with other brands.
Oh, and set your colour temperature to Warm. If you're not used to it, things might look a bit strange for a few days but, trust me, you'll never go back. It's the closest to natural sunlight. ;)
